Not any more. I once forgot to change it and went shooting and never noticed a differents . At first I swore by them but now stopped using them. One less think to stop worring about< Ever get a jam and tore apart your gun to check your buff?

"A" guy here. Its not like riding a bicycle. You just dont get back on and go. After injuries(Motocross) and age(49) dont help, boy do you go down hill quick and its harder to climb back up afterward! My plan so far seems to be working slowly. I went back to production(After getting waxed by the hungry kids in open) and will be moving back to limited soon and will see.....
Sorry to answer your question. NO! I had to try very hard to get good classifiers.

Thanks Guys!

Dont flame me but I aint gonna go thru the 28+ pages on that other thread
Is it legal to replace the factory CZ 75 trigger with the CZ(factory)trigger(More Curved) that Ghost Holster sells and stay within the USPSA Production rules?
btw: My P@nisXXX I mean my hands/finger cant reach the double action pull.

I've used 7625 with a JHP. Your C-More will love you.

Most of the STI's Ive seen will run factory length ammo. I've seen very few Para's that will. Mine wont. Mine needs 1.150 before it's reliable.
It seems to be the feed lips on the mags. Mags are the big problem with Paras. At least in my experience.
Both my STI's/Para's and my fellow club members all have to load long. The only guns I seen that could handle factory ammo are the Glocks and XDm's
Gotta do what you gotta do to play.

Cant speak about the newer Paras. I own I guess the older P16 & P16 Limited models. For me every part except the searspring is interchangable with any other 1911.
As for the link pin issue...The factory Para's uses the run of the mill mass produced parts. Unlike the S_I(except the Spartan) & Caspians most of those guns are built with Semi/Custom top the line parts. Just change out the parts=fix!
***I have not seen ANY 1911/2011 that did'nt need a tweek here or there.***
Some work yes, but in my experience to make paras run right your better off scraping everything but the frame and starting over. I don't know how many "Limited" model paras I saw that just wouldn't run. I had the one step down one and it took extensive work to get it to run right. Finally got it running and traded it and jumped on the STI band wagon and never looked back. Sure once I got mine to run right it was fine but when people pay over a grand for the TJ limited models it should at least run factory ammo out of stock mags.
Agreed about the internals. Non of the mass produced guns have good internals. As for the factory ammo. No widebody 1911 40s&w will run 100% when using factory ammo.
Then they shouldn't produce the gun until it does. That just doesn't make sense to me. Its not like it rocket science to get them to run factory length. It just takes a little work with the barrel and good mags.
Yet the wide body 1911 40S&W dominates the Limited Class???????????????????

I also sold my S_I's for Para's. I feel I gave them a fair chance(Like Glock). I hate plastic!. Maybe others feel the same way thats why their making a alumn. frame?(Like Glock).
The only advantage I see is if you're building a open gun and need the thick dust cover.

Your finger does have a mind of its own! It misses the feel of the contact with the trigger. My fix is my finger never leaves the trigger(except when moving/reloading ). I just release the trigger just enough to reset the sear so my triggers mind does'nt miss being one with the trigger. My other mind watches the sights and all the minds become happy.
-
I used them in my open gun and 9mm production gun. I can miss with either equally well.

The old "FC" or remington(R-P)

Precisions, my case is a little more rare but I have a very tight chamber leade
in my STI and the MB's wont chamber, .401,boarderline .402, the Precisions are
at .400, .401, just right !!
This is VERY IMPORTANT point for me! Precisions or jacketed. I have too load long.

Ignoring my continued confusion about the trigger, I have used their trigger pull kits in both my Para framed guns. I also used the "slot filler" from Brownells that takes the place of the two levers that actuate the plunger in the slide. The stock extractor is fine. Just remember to take out the FP plunger and spring:rolleyes:. One other Para oddity is that the slot for the sear spring is a bit lower in the frame than the standard 1911 and thusly the spring in the kit may be a bit short.
Later,
Chuck
PS: They may just say tested in Series 70 is to avoid taking the heat for the extra trigger load that is presented by the series 80 stuff.
Yeah I always have to get the special longer sear springs Lucky Dawson sells them

I have steel extensions for para mags with a block. all made by dawson. They run perfectly 10 rounds with just enough extra room to seat easily but not enough to squeeze in 11. Much tougher and wont break. They are specifically designed to work with Dawson funnels, With the S&A you have plenty of room. The bottom pad part comes off and you have an IDPA box legal mag.
I never knew they made a steel extentions! I gotta have those! Thanks
