Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Just read these and there’s more to the story. The two squads were merged and the missing stages added (which added 30-40 minutes to the start time) before the tablets were sent to each squad. Had you not taken it upon yourself to move people, you would have been on a 10 person squad (merger of 2 groups with 5 each) as announced in the shooter’s briefing. You were neither the registration check-in authorized to change the nooks nor MD.

  3. Thanks Britin - that is the same value (4.0 grains WAC) a local reloading supplier gave me. I plan to build about 10 each at 3.4, 3.6, 3.8, 4.0 and 4.2 at 1.150 for chrono tests. Will publish findings in a similar table to above once completed.
  4. Below is a table of chrono data using WST, 9mm Xtreme PRN (115 and 147 gn) bullets from a Sig X5 and CZ-SP01 on a hot Florida day - may be useful as a starting point for some ... Click on table to enlarge (sorry, couldn't figure a way to get it to stay larger):
  5. Hello to all, I have several pounds of WAC (Winchester AutoComp) but do not have a compensated pistol/barrel. My go to pistol is a SIG X5 Comp. While new to reloading, my research says that there are much better powders for softer (less recoil) reloads. However with most pistol powders being next to impossible to get these days, I plan to use what I have found to create my next 9mm, minor PF (125-130) reloads. My plan is to use my cleaned field brass, CCI 500 primer, 147 grain Xtreme copper plated round nose bullets at 1.140 or 1.150 OAL using the Dillon 650XL. Any advice you can provide regarding your use of WAC for minor PF loads would be appreciated. Or, if you have chronographed a similar build, please let me know. Jack
