Howdy,
I have an L4 Digital Lumamax LED light. The batteries last a long time. The Xenon bulb light last about 1 hour per battery set. I use my LED light for work and usually just replace the batteries every week or two, if I remember. If I forget I usually notice the light dimming a bit. I would buy the same light again if I need another light.
As far as getting stopped boarding an airplane, I'll let y'all know in about two weeks.

Back in the last decade, I had an H&K 94, semi-auto mp5. I locked it up using Hornady 147 xtp factory ammo. The brass formed to the fluted chamber and had to be beaten out of the gun. I would be wary of shooting any +p or +p+ ammo in any gun with a fluted chamber.

Georgetown, Tx ( just north of Austin ) has an individual on trial right now for Intoxication Murder. Don't know if he is eligable for the needle or not, but we can only hope.

I hate that in the last 30 days of so the price of copper has gone up $0.50 a pound and lead is rising as well. Bullets are getting real expensive.

The construction on Dave's range is now complete. The roof has the tin installed and the trim finished. The bar-b-que and coolers haven't arrived yet, but I'm hoping that will happen soon ( hint hint ). The chrono isn't used on this range. Dave has a test fire range by the shop and next to the reloading barn. Chet needs to get pictures of the 4 1050's and stuff to put in the reloading bench thread. If you are visiting Dave and see smoke coming from the reloading barn, leave the county ASAP. I don't know how big a bang it would be and I don't want to find out.
Dave had some remarks for Benny when he read this, but I told him he needs to post them. I'm not going to start a flame war.

If you are looking for a quality hard cast lead bullet, I suggest trying Magnus Bullets. Now I must be honest and admit the owner Terry Labbe is a good friend. He makes the hard cast lead that Zero Bullets sells. He also is in Mid-South Shooters Supplies catalog as well as other mail order houses.
I'm biased and not reluctant to admit it.

I've got a Dell Win XP home around here someplace thats not being used. The XP Pro is being used and I might have a Win 2000 but I'll have to find the discs. I've also got some Dimension resource discs as well.

I tried to pay for a tank of gas with a 100 dollar bill and the guy inside could not make change..pitiful..
Well Dauaa... $100.00 was $12 short a tank of gas is $112.00
even I know thatWith a 42 gal tank in my diesel p/u that isn't funny, oh did I mention the 140 gal aux tank in the back. I need a loan to fill up.

A friend was using his ( running and breathing hard ) when power dropped. The treadmill stopped, quickly. He didn't, untill he hit the bar in front, then he stopped quickly. I'm sure Dave will always treasure his experences on his treadmill.

I hate this stinking a!! cold weather that cancelled my trip to Waco to shoot today!
It had all freaking week to rain, sleet, and freeze!

I've met the owner of Zero. She has owned the company since it was started back in the '60s. They have a number of pricing levels. The absolute best price requires the purchase of 5000 lbs of bullets. They are very strict about making the weight at that level. The next best price is the 3000 lb price and to the regular distributers they aren't as strict. The best price levels also require picking the bullets up at the plant. If a 5K lb order was given to Chuck he might give a better price. As another option I have a friend who owns a cast bullet company and also sells Zero bullets, but try Chuck for the Group order first.

A machine shop in central Texas builds a self resetting target. The military seems to like them alot. The owner is a good machinist and has a lot of good ideas for products but isn't the easiest to deal with.

Why design a new 20mm rifle? There were two designs used during WW2. The Finnish Lahti and the Swiss Solothurn S18-1000. Both were Mag fed semi-auto's and accurate at long distance.

In reference to the M-14, when I got out of the Navy in '97 we still had an armory full of M-14's on the ship. The Navy also was still using the 1911's for shipboard use. As a side note, the Navy was the last to give up the '03 Springfield, and the M-1 as well. They went as far as having .308 adapters made for the '06 chambers.

I've got a 38TJ load with Zero 125 JHP & WSR primer,
8.6 gr True Blue. Chrono av 1391 fps out of a Dawson Mini-gun Stroker, no ports in barrel Dawson #2 comp. Actually I load the same in 38 SuperComp as well. Ramshot Silhouette is a good powder, Dason recommends IMR 4756, but the case is full and I don't like having to slow down on the 1050 to avoid spilled powder. Shred likes IMR 7625 W/ Hornady HAP bullets, 121 jhp I think.

Just found this, but I saw Richard Crawford just before New Years. He was on his way back home from visiting wife's family. He stopped in to visit the same person I was visiting. Didn't go into details but he's still building guns and still shooting some.

If you measure the hole pattern, you may be able to get Dawson to drill a mount to match. Call, it can't hurt to ask.

I've seen the handle retro-fitted to an RCBS Green Machine. The owner loves it, he also added a dillon case feeder as well.

Using standard night-vision during daylight to find brass will not work, it will just burnout the night vision. You could use thermal imaging to find the brass untill it assumes ambient temperature. Shred's idea of brightly colored striping will probably work better.
