Hey guys, I am in need of some knowledge and guidance. The gun came with 4 10mm mags and they seem to only be causing issues for me. While shooting, the rounds will occasionally nose dive while inside of the mag, causing the slide to lock and and force me to bang on the bottom of the mag to get the round to chamber. In two of the mags I have new extra power springs with new followers and in the other two are used normal power springs. I have had this happen in every magazine ruling out that the issue may be the springs and/or followers. This leaves me at the magazine tubes themselves being the issue. I like the concept to use the 10mm mags because this allows me to load long at 1.185 OAL. I had a witness match before this and ran K40 mags with the spacer plate that only allowed me to load to 1.135 OAL. Is this a normal issue? Is anyone else running 10mm mags instead of the K40 mags? Is it worth it to just buy the K40's and shorten the OAL or try new 10mm mags from EAA Corp? Any and all help/input is appreciated. Very frustrating to loose a match due to equipment failure and not personal error. Thank you

unfortunately most of the tanfoglio race holsters out there are for the square trigger guard models (stock II, III, limited, gold team etc). and the ghost is too. Do you know of any that fit the Match Witness? Safariland?

Wow, ok thank you. Heres what I don't understand though, the hammer and sear have been in the gun for awhile with the stock trigger and has never had a problem. Why would this new trigger cause the hammer to start malfunctioning? This never happened with thr stock trigger.

Hey guys, quick question for you. I just installed the hennings long flat trigger on my match witness. After doing so, there is an issue with my hammer. When cocked back and dry fired, the hammer seems to be hitting the firing pin and bouncing off, resulting in the hammer being left in the half cocked position. This happens about 80% of the time when dry fired. I have not put live rounds through it with this issue yet. There was a trigger job done to the stock trigger and I put the #18 plunger in and the #16 return. Egw sear and hammer, extended firing pin, etc. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks.

Ok guys, I put in the new trigger and there is a problem with the hammer. The hammer appears to bounce off of the firing pin and rest in the half cocked position, not fully forward. It does not occur every time the trigger is pulled. This is dry fire of course, not live shooting. Any idea? Anything is appreciated.

The gun has had a trigger job with the stock trigger so I'm worried that too light of springs will result in bad things, lol.

Hey guys, I just bought a Tanfoglio Witness Match as well as the long flat trigger kit from Hennings. I am not familiar with this gun or the trigger kit, hence the reason why I am posting for help. I did not buy the kit, it came with the gun un-installed. Heres the issue, I do not know which springs are what and which poundage to use. I have #15 #16 #18 and one unlabeled of the smaller springs. I have #18 #19 #20 #21 and #22 of the longer springs. Which springs are for return and plunger? Which spring combination do you guys use? Any and all advice is much appreciated. Thank you.
