How about if it was splined or the end had a raised keyway to fit into the heads recess.

Tom, Can a safety be built that has the large head on both sides, so making sure that you have positive/large head to turn ON and OFF the safety. I am sometimes more concerned with being able to get the safety on when dumping it, then turned off, so as not to be DQ'ed. Maybe drill and tap the end that is the standard safety size and create a button the same shape as the other side that can be screwed on to it. That would be Awesome! and I know several people that would be interested in it. What do you guys think??

Just got my new m3k 1 month ago, nova nut didn't work. Plus with the MOA nut, dont have to trim top of tube.

Range Report!!!! new 26" m3000 with +6 (10+1). I polished the tube with increasing steel wool, and some gun oil. Then cleaned all packing lube, and reoiled. Little graphite in the tube. Tested all versions of shells I had from 2 3/4 bulk federal and winchester 7/8 oz to 1 1/8 oz (walmart stuff) 1150fps on up. Also esate 1200fps and 1300. winchester AA, and wichester supertarget all 1300+fps. Did a breakin of 100 rounds, mixed of 3" 1550fps and 1675fps winchesters, and also s&b high brass 00 buck. All fuctioned perfect on full tube, cycled no issues. I think I've got a winner it is fuctioning far above how my JaM Pro 930 did on its first outing(and every one after that). Here is a pic of mine just polished the tube and installed new extension, folower, and clamp. All seems to work well dryfire practice. Thanks to Tom at MOA Percision, awesome products and taking care of the customer.

Does anyone have good instructions on polishing the mag tube, like sandpaper grits or steel wool, etc?
