  1. Congrats on your purchase. Am considering doing the same to a Trojan. Or maybe just go for an edge
  2. Thanks mate, I'm in North Queensland. I will sure try and get something to train with this weekend. If your only just getting started check out as much of this forum as you can. It's an eye opener
  3. I agree. Anything with a trigger pull and decent sights should do you reckon?
  4. Pocket pro 2 is what I'm gettin
  5. Anyone concerned about the new Safriland 014 holster, with the nose piece going up into the barrel? I've enjoyed their gear for ages and never been let down. But I just wonder about the barrel crown.
  6. Thanks Jimmy. I will get onto that this weekend. This forum is unreal
  7. 02 after Port Arthur, it got a whole lot worse. Pistol club guys can only use up to 9mm and we are all on 10 shot mags. To get a pistol license now you have to 1. Apply to join a club 2-4 week wait. 2. Join a club and be a member for 6 months. 3.Apply for a license 6-10 week wait. 4.Apply to acquire 5-28 days. Thanks for the welcome back too.
  8. Now that's got me thinking. Wouldn't have em over here that's for sure. A heat gun would be too light. A replica maybe??
  9. No good mate. That would take just as long to get a license for.
  10. Hi guys, I won't be getting my license till next year. I'm an Australian and our waiting period is huge. I've been out of (ipsc) for 12 years cause of my kids. But now it's just me and mother at home, so I can afford a little us time. My question is, what sort of training can I undertake in the next few months to get me sharp? I used to shoot A grade open. But this time have opted to go standard. Brought Brian's book in 1992 and re read it many times since. But I gotta say I'm excited and nervous to be going to open sights. Now, I have NO gear just yet. Only a keenness to start training. Any ideas?
