[Pyramid flat faced trigger]

Anyone have any experience with this trigger. Looking for a flat faced trigger for competition.

Most of the flat triggers I see are tactical triggers such as cmc, agency, apex, etc. Has anyone taken one of these triggers and tried to install it with a competition spring kit. 

[Hornady lnl powder drop]

Anyone have trouble with the powder tube coming off the powder drop. I've had it happen twice now leaving me with a huge mess of powder all over the place. Not to mention a waste of powder which I don't think I can reuse due to the contaminates swept up in it while cleaning. Thoroughly pissed off right now.

Took out the shell catch to modify the loading port. Thought it was like my Benelli and didn't realize there was a small cotter pin which held in the shell catch pin. Any idea where I can find one of those little buggers? I tried Midwest but they were out of stock.

It's been difficult for me. I've shot a Glock and Glock only for 20 years of law enforcement. A year ago I bought a DVC and I'm still having problems.

Ran some 308 brass through the wet tumbler and it came out looking new, much better than the nickel.

Bought a Lyman wet tumbler and ran my first batch of nickel brass. Definitely was not impressed, I got much better results with walnut. I used the sample solution of cleaner and pins that came with the tumbler. Haven't given up yet, I'll try armor all and lemeshine next.

 

[Dk custom triggers]

Bought a kit for my 35 a few years ago and love it. At that time DK was new and communication was great. A few weeks ago I ordered another kit for my 17.  I sent a email trying to get info if it would be here by Xmas and haven't heard anything. There's lots of companies that make good triggers but it's customer service that separate them apart. Don't know if I'll be buying a 3rd.

After mbx would not return my email. I resorted to a hammer. Everything seems to be working smoothly now.

I have a mbx magazine which is swelled and not dropping free. At least I think it's the magazine. I haven't micrometered the magazine yet. Will bending the body affect the feed lips?

[STI DVC]

Beginning of this year I made the switch from Glock to STI. It was a stretch of the pocket book to purchase the DVC. The gun has run flawless for me using MBX magazines. That being said if I had another 3-4 hundo to spend I would of went with the CK. 

[DVC rear sight]

I was cleaning my newer DVC last night and noticed a lot of side to side play in my rear sight. I would say the sight moves in the dovetail around 1/8th to 1/4". I really don't want to send the gun back to STI. I've heard something about grooving the metal underneath the sight to make it fit tighter in dovetail. Anybody have any thoughts?

I love my DVC limited. It's my first 2011 coming over from a Glock. Been running mbx magazines and its been 100% reliable.

Don't know. Edges look to smooth to be burnt..wonder if they are using a CNC or some type of wood awl.

I've been stippling my handguns for a while now and enjoy doing it. Lately I have been seeing these clean cut borders around the stippling and really dig the way they look. Anybody willing to share how they are done and the tools used. My Google foo skills are lacking because I can't find nothing.

Just getting started in reloading with my DVC. 4.5gr tightgroup with a acme coated 180 at 1.18=171 power factor.

Yes loading for a sti. I dropped it down to 4.4 grains. How much if any do you see in deviation on oal. I'm seeing 1.179ish-1.185ish

Getting ready to load up my first batch of rounds on the new press. Im thinking of starting with 4.6 grains of titegroup at 1.18 with a acme 180 coated bullet. Having never loaded pistol before I'm hoping this will be a good starting point.

[New STI DVC Open and Limited guns]

My DVC limited 40 finally arrived. Went straight out of the box to a match. Everything ran without a hiccup. Shooting factory Speer lawman and mbx magazines. Couldn't be happier.
