  1. A few things aren't really necessary.

You can make your own toolhead stands easy and cheap.

Low powder sensor isn't necessary as it sits right in front of your face.

Toolholder and wrench is not necessary either. It already comes with what you need.

Bushing driver came with my 1050.

Maintenance kit comes with the spare parts kit

You only need to get 1 extra toolhead. The machine already comes with one which is setup.

You still need a 223 die set

I would buy a 1" combination wrench to for Dillon lock rings.

I would buy a 15/16" socket for the toolhead bolt.

    Bullet tray would be nice.

I have never needed to replace my index ball spring.

These items I have had to replace....

    13944 - Indexer Return Spring

    13624 - Index Pawl Spring

    13705 - Index Pawl

  2. Accuracy varies greatly between different people. When developing loads for my bolt guns I aim for .25moa at 100 yrds, but I know people who load for their bolt guns and are happy with 1moa at 100 yrds.

For most 308 bolt guns I have seen they generally all like the 168 SMK, 175 SMK, 168 A-Max and 178 A-Max over a variety of powders. I have always had Varget and all my rifles love it.

  3. I too have a Forcht modified super 1050. I added sensors and a microprocessor to cut power in a jam or if primers powder or bullets run out. Yield about 1000 rounds an hour

Here's it in action processing military brass. Video was cell phone so a bit distorted. Processed about 100k so far and loaded about 23k.

In regards to 300 blk out I think the super 1050 would handle it...fun project

How did you mount the microswitch near station 7/8? Did you just drill into the press?
