Who imports and sells these? Very interesting.

I’m looking to see if it’s possible to convert, with just a barrel and comp, from the limited setup to open minor. I was considering the idea of using a V8 minor barrel and comp, if I can find one, to make the conversion easier. Or! Do i need an entire top end? Any help would be appreciated. Don’t know much about this platform. Photo is of the limited master I am looking to purchase.

Unfortunately it isn’t the first Glock-compatible steel frame. Look up CCF Raceframes for a history of their effort. While I know nothing about the specifics of this effort, CCF ran into a problem using steel. Steel doesn’t flex like polymer,. When a Glock recoils, the frame apparently flexes which slows down the slide; the steel doesn’t. CCF had to rig up various attempts at boosting the recoil spring setup, and never really got it right.
I have a CCF configured with standard Glock parts and I never cared for the feel of it.
Doesn’t mean these people can’t get it right, but it’s not as simple as just making a Glock frame in steel.
Certainly not saying you’re wrong, I’m just saying that they are putting in a pretty strong effort .

Why is the beavertail so low on the grip? A big part of the Glock appeal is the low bore axis, and that beavertail all but negates it. It moves the pivot point down a good 1/4"+
With all that metal back there in sure it can be massaged to fit how you would like it.

They said it makes the Gun weight 50 oz That's a heavy Glock
Makes me think a 9 major Glock isn’t so scary anymore

Looks interesting, why not just put a slide on and sell the pistol though? If it's intended use is competition it's unfortunate it won't be allowed in production or CO.
I'm sure this will be a possibility at some point. They have images on their Instagram with their own branded slide.

I tripped over this while cruising YouTube. As anyone else seen or heard of this. Seems somewhat interesting depending on price point obviously.

Can anyone tell me what slide racker I can use on my Gold Team besides the factory one. I want to run it on the left side without bashing up my thumb.

So I bought two MBX mags for my 38 Super. One works pretty well but the other is tight going in and needs to be pulled free. I thought maybe it was the mag catch so I removed the factory grips and checked it. Without the grips all the mags insert and drop without any issues. Put the grips back on and the problem returns. Anyone else experience this?

Thank you. Will try that.

Forgive me for being a complete newb when it comes to Tanfoglio and all my questions.
I have magazines from a Gold Custom, 38 Super, V8 model. When I tried them in my new Gold Witness 2017 ERIC, also 38 Super, they are very tight and stick. Is this small frame vs large frame? Where can I get magazines for the 2017 Eric?

So if I am reading this thread correctly, some of you are running both 38sc and/or 9mm through your 38sa? I just got my hands on two Gold Team’s and I’m finding these options very interesting with ammunition the way it is currently.

Can anyone tell me the mounting screw size for mounting an optic on a Gold Custom?

Thanks guys! Appreciate the responses.

Excuse my ignorance but I have a question. I got a great deal on a Gold Custom V8 from a member here. I shot it today and it was awesome. I took it apart to give it a good cleaning and the comp was able to be unscrewed very easily. Is this normal? I’m used to 2011’s where the comp doesn’t unthread so easily. Thanks in advance.

I believe the Bar-Sto barrel is rated for Major PF, yes. The three-port comp is definitely designed to utilize high-pressure loads. The standard diet for all of my P320s is factory 124gr NATO/+P loads and they run perfectly on that. At some point I wouldn’t mind trying a couple mags of Major PF loads through it, if I can find someVery interesting. I’ve had a very similar idea in mind for quite some time and just happened to stumble upon this. Really sweet work. Can’t wait to see a video.

Can you shoot major PF ammo through this? Love the look.

I don't know what people were expecting, TBH. It's a Legion with an R3 Max on top... mission accomplished. I probably would have chosen the 3MOA variant, but that's nitpicking. Improved slide lockup would be nice, but I've never felt the Legion's accuracy was inadequate for USPSA. I can make 75yd hits on steel with 1-2 shots, so I often feel like the accuracy issues are a little overblown. The P320 Alpha was a cool idea, and I could probably be convinced to buy the grip module if they ever released it in the US, but with the bankruptcy of Sig in Germany, I doubt it's going to happen.
(The new XCarry Legion is arguably a more interesting release; kind of a mash-up between the X5 Legion and the (never-released?) X5 TacOps. Might be good for the crowd that likes to shoot with their carry pistols.)
XCarry Legion? Where did you see this?

Which grip sleeve is that? I like everything about my Canik except how poorly it fits my hand.
Hogue grip sleeve for a Glock 17.

Has anyone noticed an extreme lack of P320 models at their LGS? I’m helping out at mine and we haven’t seen one in a month. Just curious if everyone is seeing the same or our allocation is just not getting them.

I originally cut a Government length to size for testing but for actual competition I ordered commander length springs.

P365 with a long slide?

I’m just curious, with the 365 XMacro reaching 17 rounds, 20 with the TTI base pads, do you think a 4.5-5.0” slide is out of the question? Will this platform eventually take the place of the 320? Just curious what people think.
