I walked in my local shop and paid $32 for a thousand small pistol winchester primers. This is up from $28. Its a bit higher, but at least they had some. now i am back to over 7k small pistol primers.

I find that using baking soda and a mild soapy water can get almost all of the stains out of a powder measure. Use the mild soapy water just to get the surface wet and rub the baking soda on it. You want the baking soda to be wet and a bit more than a paste. Use that and a cotton bore buffer and it will look mostly like new. I bought a used powder measure that was all gunked up and this solved it for me.

I am having an interesting issue with my dillon 550 primer punch. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I went into the bag of spare parts, pulled the spare out, and the spare didnt have the extra nipple on it. I popped it in, and now the problem is solved. I shot dillon an email and explained the problem.

Maybe im just lucky, but every time i called, it took less than 5 minutes to get someone. I called at least 4 times in the last couple of weeks.

I thought everything including the dies was a 6-8 week turn around time? The only dies that i thought where running behind where the 223 dies.

Did you get your dies already?

Who did you order from? I ordered thru Brian. I just counted, I start the 8th week tomorrow. Hopefully it'll arrive this week. Keep us posted. I am interested on this as well. I ordered through BE (great guy), but i also see people who ordered after i did who got their presses already. The only difference is that those people who ordered after i did ordered 650s, rather than the 550 i ordered. I am not really worried about it yet though, i just hope it didnt get lost in transit like my dillon scale did.

I got everything in except for the press and dies. I ordered the first week of march.

I feel your pain. I originally ordered a SDB on 02/27, but my wife demanded (great wife) that i get the 550b so i can eventually reload rifle ammo. I called Brian on 03/08 to change my order. Hopefully that didnt change my place in line!
