Thanks for the quick reply.
I actually just had the bright idea to google my name and USPSA and I found some old results with my member number listed.
Thanks!

I haven't shot competitively in about 3 years. (I've been doing this instead)
Anyway, I'd like to renew my membership and start attending matches again. Is there any way for me to figure out my member number?

What do you guys recommend for a commander size gun shooting factory ammo? I have a S&W 1911sc...no idea what spring is in there at the moment.

EGW

It's even better when you can drop off/pick up in person , although I haven't been to their new shop yet.

Especially since the SIG is not remotely close to being legal in IDPA.
-
As stated it is not an IDPA gun. It was designed for shooting IPSC, it is Sig effort to compete in Limited and Limited 10 division.
It doesn't hold enough rounds to be any good in limited. I think it would only be useful in L-10, which sucks cause it sure is purty.

One of these days I'm going to shoot my 8 shot 1911pd with CT grips in open division for fun.
-
Looks like my early April training class I attended with him will be one of the last ones for a while.

Aren't CZ's aluminum frames?
-
I think it would be fun to see someone try and game it, either by jumping on the table or proning on it or under it, but it would take way longer to do this than to just shoot it straight so why bother
-
That classifier you did sounds like Baseball standards. That was the first classifier I shot in USPSA too...lefty 15 yard shots were just something I've never practiced (I usually shoot IDPA and left shots are only allowed out to 7 yards) It does get easier though, eventually

I wanted to go to prone and shoot under it

My para with S&A magwell and mag fits right in there at 42.something ounces, I'm sure an S*I frame weighs less than my Para frame so I'd guess you are in the clear. I'd be more worried about your magwell fitting the box, not sure which STI wells work.
How did you do that? My P16 with a S&A magwell that's been shaved to fit the box comes in at 43 ounces without a mag.
Now that I think about it, you must have a different well than me. Mine is unmodified and fits the IDPA box with no problems.

Honestly I don't know. I havn't weight it yet myself either, but George at EGW said he made it work. I believe he removed some weight from the MSH and could have also milled out the holes in the frame under the grip some if he needed to, but he didn't.

They are only treated different in production, to give the DA/SA guns a place to compete without having to go up against the 18oz 1911 triggers. Nothing wrong with shooting a DA/SA in Limited, Ltd 10 or Open, but if an SA wasn't better, you'd see more DA/SA guns in these classes.
-
Because they have to draw a line somewhere with weight, capactiy, gun mods, etc. in order to have a GAME that is easily scorable and fair to people who don't spend $1000+ on gear.

I bought race mag pouches and belt (CR speed) for USPSA and use cheapy Fobus for IDPA.
-
You can't shoot a caliber converted Glock in IDPA. I'm also pretty sure this applies to USPSA production

I heard he's recieved 2 marriage proposals since he's been put on death row.

I guess it could be. I have some black tape on my front strap now. It just looks like it was a pre-cut piece.

I saw these on Novak's handgunneroutlet website but his emails all seem to be bouncing that I send him. Anyone know what they are called or where to get them?
-
Seems silly that the CZ 97 should be allowed and not the p-01. The 97 is a HUGE gun.
-
I always thought a 9+1 gun was an advantage in IDPA. Silly me.
So I forgot my USPSA member number

Hopefully my member number isn't the only thing I've forgotten....
