I tried all of the above fixes and have the failure to eject (empty case hung up over partially fed round. the upper and rear edges of ejection port are heavily dinged from brass strikes. Two things come to mind: 1) open up the upper and rear portions of the ejection port, and 2) Tune the ejector similar to how the problem is resolved on a 1911 .45 acp. There is a MPX "Gen III" Upper Receiver that has a different ejector - wonder why?? Will the Gen III work on the Gen II lower??

My 550 from 1984 is threaded. A lock washer plus two flat washers above the crank and flat washer and nut below.

UPDATE fellows: I have an old rear adjustable from a Para Ordnance 16-40 (in 2002) that fits the STI Trojan and the LPA number is TRT91BW07 for black blade. TRT91BW30 for fiber optic which I'm now looking for. Jay at Dawson has the black serrated blade sight: their SKU 024-024

OOPS! When I said I had heard a CZ 75 Tac Sport would fit the correct designation for the Tac Sport Is TRT92BWFU07. The STI Trojan sight is an LPA cut - just need to identify the correct one.

See pic below of my Trojan below. LPA TRT54FU07 (Bomar cut) did not fit. Supposedly in 2014 or 2015 STI went to LPA for sights for the Trojan. I read somewhere that the LPA TRT54FU07 that is used on CZ 75 Tactical Sport would fit. Trojan breech face to cut is 13/16". ANY HELP FOR A NEW SIGHT would be appreciated. Fusion Arms, Hutchinson, Kensight - no luck there.

I have a Para 9mm double stack and the subsequent Rem R1. Purchased two MBX mags. Slide locked open after last shot on the R!, but failed 100% of the time on the Para. Both lug lengths measured .174". Located a used slide stop in my parts bin and installed in the Para and the MBX mags now lock the slide back. Lug length measures .201". I could almost swear the .201" length was out of a .45 acp. - but that doesn't make sense. I purchased both pistols used. Anyone have any info on lug lengths used on the R1/Para 9 mm double stacks? Also the lug length for a 1911 9 mm single stack? Thanks!!

Primary Machine in Louisiana. He milled my 1911 and I had them include the small posts to fit in bottom of Vortex Razor. First Class work!!
