  1. Replaced a broken crank on my 550B. The old handle would not come out easily and needed to be threaded out. The instructions to install the new crank make it appear that it should just slide into place. The lack of threads in the crank back that up, but the handle won't budge no matter how it's aligned. Were older handles threaded into the crank and I have a mismatch? How else can I install the handle?
  2. There are a few things that cause ejection failures. Hitting the ejector rod before the revolver has been inverted. Those cases need all the gravity they can get. Dirty cases: polish them extensively and consider using nickel Dirty chambers: a good cleaning with bore cleaner (e.g. JB Bore paste) is a necessity Broken cases. The smallest split on a case will cause the brass the expand and clamp onto the cylinder wall. Cull your match brass carefully.
