I just ordered a steel master so prob 9 minor and as for .223 i shoot 3 or 4 cases a year. So not alot of rounds compared to sum but alot more than sum others as i own and operate my own tactical range basically we shoot mainly like 3 gun stuff. So now i am leaning towards the 650 for both calibers.

Ok yes another newby with questions ! Here is my delima i am wanting to make 9mm and .223. Ive been doing alot of reading and i am torn on one hand im looking at the 550b for both calibers and i have just roughly guesstamated around 900 bucks. And i still have to switch back and forth between the 2. Now on the other hand i thought about buying the square deal for 9 and the getting a LnL AP for .223 do roughly bout the same money but i end up with 2 presses and i dont need to switch calibers. So am i thinking correctly or am i missing something ?? Please lets hear ur comments good or bad.

Yes 3 gun that is why i need a very secure holster. Really dont want a 3k pistol falling to the ground !

Very good news everyone and yes i place my order last week for my steelmaster. They were out of stock till jan 2nd and then allow 3-4 weeks for hard chrome. Also added a blue grip and 5 tuned mags with blue base pads to my order.Now the wait starts !!!!!!

So i finally got off my butt and took the leap!!! I orderd a Hard chrome SM from dawson today. Now im tryin to do sum research on a descent holster. Im not neccesarily lookin for a full blown race holster i am looking for something i can draw quick with but i really need one that will hold the pistol very securly as i want to be able to run without wondering if it is gonna fallout or not. Also as im sure their are less option i am a left hander.all info would be much appreciated.

What kinda price are we lookin at all said and done ?

Now that i look back i should have confronted them in front of her but im usually one of those guys that tries to keep his mouth shut for as long as he can. But the more i thought about it aft the fact the more i got pissed ! And dont worry i will never set foot in their again and will be telling everyone i know how they run their buisness.

Ok so i am in my local gun shop the other day and this older lady walks in im gonna say she is maybe in her 70's and gives the attendant a spent cartridge of a .40 cal. She asked him if he had a box of them at a reasonable price as they were for her grandson to practice with. Here is where it pisses me off he walks over and picks up a box of black hills and tells her this is about the best deal he has on them at a price of 54.99 for 50 and then goes and tells her that ammo is going up weekly at a very rapid pace and talks her into a 2nd box. So after she leaves they had a gud laugh about it so i have to give them an ear full and told them they should be ashamed of taken advantage and they told me that they do it all the time and that people should know what they want b4 they come in. What is this world coming too ?

Ok i am now looking at dawsons crp steel master in hard chrome . What are your thoughts on this is gun coming from their shop is it gonna run any better than one that hasnt. Also what are your thoughts on what or where i should get the mags from.

Im pretty sure u r correct someone could tool up for a lefty. But i am also pretty certain i could not afford it although that would be very very cool to have an actual left hand open gun.

I am a left handed shooter and i was wondering if their is any of you that has either had to change or overcome different things to shoot an open gun efficently.

So what is the chances of finding a good used one in hard chrome ?

im looking at it like the EAA is a grand cheaper than the STI SM but it does not have the cmore or the mount so am i just better off going with sti since all of the reviews i have read says it will actually run ?

Ok i have read back quite a few pages about the witness gold in a 9mm not running worth a crap but alot of the posts were quite old.I am wanting to know if they or anyone have gotten them to run or should i just stick with an STI ?

Has your trubor been lightened from the factory or another gunsmith ?

So with alittle more research i am finding out that all four or the sti open guns can run factory ammo as long as u can find the proper recoil spring. Do most of u guys find this to be true ?
