I am used to shooting CMore RTS2's and DPPro sights. I have a bit of an eye issue (and being a right handed shooter and left eye dominant does not help) and am wondering if anyone has removed the rear fixed sight but left the front sight for index?

I ran 7# with a shock buff and was fine......ran with an SV tungsten GR ....dumped the recoilmaster pronto.

I assume once a popple hole is cut, its there for good......but wondering if anyone tried to fill, etc? Likely a new barrel is cheaper...but just wondering.

I have an incoming CAP AL magwell coming in. Was supposed to be for another build, but has anyone had success or minor work done to fit the EVO grip? I have one of those coming in as well....

Getting back into USPSA, and looking for an action pistol range with avaiable bays for practice and training. POutdoors, run and gun style training.
I am new to the Atlanta area so help would be apprecaited.

Have an incoming 2011 in 38SC set up with a Seredipity. I am not partial to all in one units, and am considering ordering a mount and new scope.
How are the latest batches of RTS2's? Stick with the older slide ride? RTS optics better in terms of sight window size, etc?

Looking to play in CO while my open gun is getting built. Iron sights too difficult with my eye problems of late.
Anyone successfully marry up a Mk12 X-Calibur with an optic? Machined or was there a bolt on application?

Yes, figured that, but a level 1 standing and shooting 80-100 rounds is not drills. I run box and transition drills until I cannot move and get through 1000 rounds in a day is good for a L3 prep.
If anyone has any ideas or help, greatly appreciated else will jump into a couple local matches if I can.

Getting ready for Ontario Provincial Championships. Spend half my weekends in Atlanta. Anyone know where I could get a bay for movement drills w target stands in the Atlanta area?
Looking for the weekend of August 27/28 and more importantly, Labor day weekend.

I have fit maybe 2 dozen this way. I try to avoid machining or removing grip/frame material (other than deburring) as I can always replace an SV trigger bow if I may that critical of an error. I fit SV trigger assemblies (bow, sear, disconnector and sear spring) in all my SV's. Usually with EGW or the like.

I run all my 1911 styled guns with 1.5-1.7lbs. With 17# MS. Only issue was after 25k rounds was dropping to 1 lb and had to replace springs and sear.

I am currently in the midst of replacing my non SV 1911/2011/Open pistols with SV's. I was sold to the quality and function a few years ago, and am ordering more as the months roll out.
