What does that mean, I'm a Texan as well.

It means I am a Texan, and I choose to not associate with the rest of the transgendered monstrosity in the rest of the country..I'm a Texan first and an American second

Well... Hold on a second. I have a friend that is from Africa and is now a US citizen. He's from South Africa and is Caucasian. He is an African American. So, not all African Americans are black. And he does consider himself African American.
He served in the South African army and is big into shooting sports. Your "nonsense" is a generalization that you are using to classify anyone that may be an African American as black. Which is far from reality.
Besides, who cares? We are all Americans. And if we all are not, who cares. Let go out and shoot, have a great time, make some friends, and possibly introduce someone new to the sport. Be they purple with white polka dots, green, orange or sky blue.
I am a TEXAN! I don't associate with the rest of the socialized continent!

jacked, or any other pre-workout is too much....I do use the amino energy from ON though....it has a little caffeine and a lot of BCAA..but nothing to make you jittery or overly amped

I'm looking for a good alternative to gatorade, am I diabetic and don't want the extra sugar.
I go with a sugar free Gatorade mixed with a high concentration of BCAA. usually from optimum nutrition.

I need more accidental epicness in my life.
a series of accidental epicness is simply referred to as luck...or cheating...but if you aren't cheating, you are not trying!

Hey guys, I had a great local smith build me an open gun with Jpoint mounted on the slide. Had problems with two different Jpoints in a row. One had auto brightness issues, the other had zero-wandering issues. Without arguing the pros/cons of slide mounted dots, my question is does anyone know a smith that could machine my slide to accept something similar to the Glock/S&W/SA MOS plates that can allow the use of multiple optics. I'd like to try a few different ones before giving up on the slide-mount option.
Help is greatly appreciated,
Cheers623

try carver..thats who does my slide work

Great training experience.
Good luck.
any time you have a rough shoot it is a great training experience...ive never learned anything by doing everything right..when everything goes right I brush it off as accidental epicness!!

I have a lot of experience with shotgun..was on the US national team in one way or another since I was 13 years old..i have never used beads on my shotgun!
if I can give 2 pieces of advice for shotgun?
1)you point a shotgun, don't aim it.
2) grip it the complete opposite as a handgun (heavy grip the trigger hand, and lightly grip the support hand for better movement)
these are simple things....but people always screw them up.
as for the glock 19 with plastic sights? I just recently had a guy whip all of us in production division with a bone stock glock 19 he had purchased the previous night...dude was a straight ringer.

"At a local gun store one day an off duty police officer leans up against the cabinet full of various 1911s. He asked the clerk about some handguns, the clerk pointed at the cabinet and said, 'Check out these 1911s.' The officer commented, 'I dont want to trust my life to 100 year old technology, what else you got?'"
The clerk should have responded, "Nothing better."
I'd have been tempted to stick my nose in it with, "Bring your gun out to the next match, I'll spot you the difference between the 8 rounds in my 1911 to however many you got; I'll still whip you. And, if my 1911 malfunctions before your gun does, I'll refund your match fee... we got a deal, sparky?"
I hate the empty bravado of statements like that which the cop uttered.
I agree though..1911's have been relegated to range queens..more or less an 8 shot revolver.
will they do the job? absolutely! is 8 rounds suitable for a primary weapon in a gun fight? not in this mans opinion.

I've been shooting Sig's for years and the 320 for almost two years. I have one in 40 set up for limited, and I don't have an issue with too much recoil. Design on the gun (lock time, recoil spring design, etc) and grip have more to do with perceived recoil than a high bore axis
Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk
the perceived recoil isn't bad at all...just feels like I am looking at a red dot sitting on top of a shoe box..

I have been leaning towards the 320 if I make the jump. I am liking the fell and everything about the gun so far.
My only problem with it was the high bore axis combined with the extra height of the red dot. it was just too tall for me.
I still have a p320 with a red dot milled in...but its in 45acp and is now my go to brush gun.

I was at a local match not that long ago and honestly couldn't tell if a gentleman was having a series of ND's..or if he was just an outragesly bad shot..turns out hes just horrible.
I actually thought he was having nd's
-
you just need to think about it..you can buy a new gun which is always fun, or you can have a shop mill a slide and only pay around $150
-
whatever you shoot the best..I am starting carry optics this year, and I am just having carver mill a slide for a gun I already built and love.
