I wish I had read this before I started my build. The CMC Lantac drop-in trigger doesnt' reset and had a couple of out of battery discharges and case head separations. Still trying to figure out what works reliably.

Ugh, there's plenty of 30 rnd stages. Dropping mags in mud is going to suck. Hopefully the grassy areas won't be to torn up.

Nardis protip: You can make the targets turn as they advance down the lane, just ask the RO about the programs on the controllers in the lane.

There's a cooler of water every other stage.

I've had problems with the adjustable factory rear sight on my Tanfoglios, including a Witness Match. I replaced the front and rear sights with Hennings sights and problem solved. Point of aim is consistent with a six o'clock hold.

I just sanded down my Ghost holster until I couldn't find any black marks on my Stock 1. The grips were especially hitting the holster, so I filed down that part of the holster.

This is my first Level III match; I'm shooting all day Friday, should I stay to the end of the match on Sunday?

I picked up my Stock II in .40 last December on GunBroker. Didn't seriously start searching for one until September before, but I recall that one or two would turn up on GunBroker every month. I'm sticking with my 9mm Match for 3gun, Limited and Steel Challenge for now.

Got an email from Henning yesterday, front sights are finally in!

I bought a front sight in December, which wasn't in stock, but he shipped the other stuff I ordered. I've emailed him a couple of times but he hasn't responded. So I'm wondering also.

Never mind, apparently there is only one rifle buffer at 3.5 ozs (except for the JP stuff). I shot a match with this lower and an upper with a 20" bull barrel and felt recoil was negligible but it was really heavy.

I switched out my MOE carbine stock for an ACE ARFX A2 skeleton stock and used the buffer that came with it. I had a Spikes T2 (H2) buffer in the carbine stock and felt recoil was minimal. The recoil with the ARFX stock was more noticeable and I was taking more time with followup shots. Is there such a thing as a H2 buffer for an A2 length stock? Can I use my Spikes H2 buffer in this stock? What else can I do to soften recoil (I already have a Miculek compensator at 1:00)?
