  1. You should look at firing pin block like Mo said or you can try shooting it without firing pin block in place I would think. Let us know what you find. Pat
  2. Is the SRT IPSC legal??
  3. Thanks guys, I polished and got rid of the tooling mark on the plunger minus 1 coil, 15lb main spring, 9 lb recoil spring, polished trigger bow and inside of frame and polished the sear cage just like I did to my Shadow. It feels so much better after 400 rounds with some light hit here and there. I emailed Eric G. and was told the tula is pretty hard he tested it with the 16lb spring. He also recommended his Extreme firing pin. I'm waiting on Jim at Shooterready for Eric's firing pin though. But this week I'm gonna try it again with cci primers. I will report back. Pat Mo- I tried shooting the gun with firing block removed. Nealio- I hand primed my case.
  4. btw the ones that didn't go bang I fed them to the Shadow lol
  5. Ok guys I just came home from the range here is what I've found: - I'm using tula primers!! (cheap and only primers I can find) - slide is locking back now after switching to 10lb spring - light hit is still there, I shot it with the firing pin block removed with stock hammer spring and stock firing pin spring. - my shooting buddy shown so I asked him to hand me some of his ammo (cci 500 primers) and it went bang everyone of them! So you think Eric's XL firing helps with this issue? Thanks, Pat P.S. I also found trigger stacks up before the break in DA pull from sear spring being too stiff?? Am I correct?
  6. Thanks you guys for your replies, the gun is brand new never had it apart because I was waiting for the recoil springs and hammer springs so I can try them out. The springs came in today so I took an opportunity to detail strip it and smooth things out a bit. As fas as slide won't lock back I think it's more of my light load (bayou 124 under 4gr wsf) I'm going to the range tomorrow and will report back. Thanks again, Pat
  7. Hi gang, I have a brand new large frame stock2, took it to the range to test it out and like the title said more of the intermittently issues though. Has anyone ran into this kind of issues before? Thanks, Pat
  8. Is the disco pin rubbing on anything on its side?? I had the same problem on my old cz75bd and Dave at CGW told me to look at those pins.

  11. We had 94 at our local IDPA monthly match last Sunday here in Orlando with some USPSA Master joined in.
  12. I used to own Glock 17, 19 and 34.They are good guns then one day I tried the m&p pro 5" and my life started to change since that day. I recently switched to the M&P camp and having a 5" pro to shoot in both IDPA and production with, you can't go wrong with the M&P.
  13. I too have a sp01 shadow custom target and bought nothing but extra magazines, ohhh and recut the hammer hook by Dave at CGW for a minimal fee. It's worth every penny spent!! Good luck.

    Cajun Gun Works

+10 to Dave at CGW, my first experienced with him when I called him for help on my first CZ which was a 75BD, he sent me a new hammer and several discos just to try each one out without parts being sent back to him! No doubt! the bd was a whole lot better. I recently bought a sp01 shadow custom target but the s/a pull had a camming on it! Another phone to Dave for the rescue, lol. I sent him the hammer and he recut it another .006" and only charged a minimal fee for it! What a great guy to deal with, Thanks a million, Dave!!!
