  1. Quote my original post: I have a Winchester Super X2 almost new in box. It has about 125 shells through it. Last year I had thought at I would be able to do 3 gun matches, but alas my health and family commitments have nixed that. If you are interested, I will be real fair. as I recall I picked a couple of proper Winchester chokes on top of the ones that came with it. I am in the Seattle area. Feel free to email me Thanks, Win aka Gun Oil aadva@earthlink.net" To those that saw this, thanks for your interest in this SX2! I wish I had 10 of them to sell and keep everyone happy! The SX2 sold the day after this posting. FWIW, the buyer reported that he was a REAL happy camper! Very pleased with the cycling speed and reliability!

  3. Got the SX2....better than I am, not enough time to use it as I like. I did add the Briley bolt handle....a must have item. Eats anything I have fed it.
  4. Was wondering if anyone out there could help me identify the parts on my Race Gun? I have/will attached pics, but my server is down right now. The barrel is an "Ultimatch" in .38 Super The gun was originally built by Randy Cavanaugh of the Greater Seattle area....I understand he is now in Southern AZ.....but alas, I can't find him. If anyone knows Randy or how to contact him..... PLEASE pass along my name and ph # to him! Thanks, Win Maynard 206-799-2704 [attac ment=1646:attachment]
  5. Yep....Briley makes it for the SX2.....order the Winchester Model.....Mine is sweet!
  6. Well......Interesting...the handle that is listed as "Winchester" is in fact for the Sx2, it is Briley's PN TSPA-21..... At least that is what they advised me on the phone...I ordered one yesterday...we'll see when it comes in if it is correct!
  7. So does this handle "pop" right in? There is only one "browning" handle listed on Briley's site....I will be calling them on Monday!
  8. Having not shot a 3 gun match yet, and still getting my gun inventory together, I am stuck on which model of shotgun to purchase..... 1) I have seen posts here and elsewhere that say that "some" sanctioners of matches have barrel length restrictions to 22"....where and why? 2) Benelli markets the M1 Practical model as "IPSC" ready....with a 26" barrel. Why would they design a gun for a specific application if it wouldn't be somewhat competitive in that arena? 3) Since Benelli only makes an 18.5" barrell in a tactical application.....what should a guy do? I really don't expect to go out and light the world on fire, but would like to try and be competitive....but I don't want to show up at a venue and be told that my barrel is too long.... Advice, comments...alll are welcome
  9. Could you guys with the background please give me a list of the needed tools to do the routine maintenance and cleaning on an AR15? I don't need tools to "Smith" the gun, but want to be sure to have the needed items to do routine work. Also, cleaning items....I see a number of 'specialty' items that pertain to this category.....I would assume that a bore guide would be beneficial, but what else is required to properly clean these guns..... Thanks! PS....If it matters..... I am refering to a RRA NM A2(on order)....I am planing on using it in CMP matches, and an occasional 3 gun match.....
  10. Who are the "others" that I should be aware of? I will be surprised if I would get to that level.....there are a few USPA matches in my region a year....that would probably do it for me. Thanks Rhino..!
