Our club has not received a thing yet.
I contacted Charles on 2-14 and sent another FFL copy
as Charles told me that is the only way for him to check.
I am still waiting to hear back.

I was fortunate to shoot with Jim Clark Jr. a few years ago at a major 3 gun match ,after the match we witnessed him shooting trap
with the shotgun behind his back breaking clays like it was no big deal.. The man is definitely talented !
-
I don't think the division is ready to have dirt thrown on it just yet.
As of last count the SMM3G match has 21 Heavy metal competitors !
But only 5 in Heavy Scope and not all the sponsored competitors are registered yet.
-
Worked for me

Do you know what the grade of steel is in the picture?
-
I don't think its broken, so why try to fix it ?
when I don't like the rules or the way its ran I find another match to go to, and
if all matches were run under the same organization you would take away the
variety.

I had FTF issues until I went to a extended firing pin in my 2011 with a 17# mainspring and ultra light hammer

if you decide to drill it your self, use a spray bottle of water while drilling to keep the fibers from becoming airborne.

The JP low mass carrier/buffer and adjustable gas block would be a improvement that you would definitely notice.

Pat , That's a great explanation of the Benelli enertia system .
You might want to repost this in the shotgun tech section too.

you will be fine with your belt gear in your carry on baggage
I take all my belt gear with me and never had a problem
just don't try to take magazines with you
-
Try Mag blueprinting in the vendors section
-
I know you want a stencil but if you can't locate that go to gun racer.com
Really easy and quick to use stage description program.

I think what Kurt means is, if the reviews say "it was the best match ever" and in reality
it had some serious issues, the match directors will choose to keep doing business as usual.
In the past I would use the reviews on the forum to decide whether the match was
one that I would attend, but as Kurt said you can't count on what you read
to be an objective review.
-
Yes that is correct

sounds like the mag spring may be a little weak ,and or the tube and follower need a good cleaning.

You're best bet is find a optometrist that will let you bring you're guns in the office to get the best
Prescription for you're eyes.
Have you worked with Robert from De cot yet? He would be my first choice .

For the LR-308 Iam a big believer in the BCM large handle version
Because the buffer spring has a much higher spring rate than the ar-15 design.
I have 3 stock 308 charging handles with badger latches that have bent roll pins.
-
You should just pull your handgard off and measure it.
If you need help just PM me .

How do both bags fit in the standard pelican case most people use for air travel. Can't recall the number right now.
The voodoo fits fine in a pelican 1750 with extra room

Subtract the LaRue target issues and this match is as good as it gets......
The only issues with the larues was the black target in the shadows was really hard to see until the sun came up.
A hit anywhere above the base was called "hit" only if it did not fall.
But I did see a iron sight shooter engaging a target in the shadows
That had fallen already , only because it was not called "hit" and he had a hard time seeing it.
The stage design with very small amount of paper ( around 10 or less for the whole match) and a lot of reactive steel made for quick stage resets.
Which was really nice.
Thanks to all the hard working staff and fun squad #11 for making it a great time!
And congrats again to TY Gentry on winning the shotgun shoot off against Daniel H. That was a great show !
-
Those R&R rope pulls are the best, at our monthly match we use them out to 400 yds(the max property size)
With 8"-12" plates they have been flawless ! Reset takes less than 1 minute for 8 targets 180-400yds out.
It's too bad more matches don't use these, my only complaint is your arms get a little tired rolling up the cords.

I think that pic of the FNH prize table has motivated a few pistol shooters who were on the fence.

The XXL is 1-1/2 longer than the standard cap , so if the 9th shell is within that amount of going in it will work.
provided you are using the style tube.
