I know it wont be perfect but has anyone every filled them? or maybe you have an idea of how to fill or cover it so it wont look so bad?
thanks.

Go sidemore and forget the racker. The Cheely mount puts the C-more more forward so the end of the slide is easier to grab. So a guy whittles the slide down to fighting weight and hangs a 2 oz steel slide racker on it, something wrong with that picture. The Cheely mount props the gun up, and I got Gas Pedals on mine so its all jacked up. If the gun runs the racker is used 99% of the time for LMR and UNLSC. I think of them as fashion accessories. There a some I see yanking that slide racker on multiple stages of a match, this shows a lack of reloading skills. They can probably clear a jam faster than I can since I don't get any practice doing that. I had slide rackers on a couple guns, if you do get one the detent ball is the only way to go, anything that screws on to an open gun needs locktite.
Interseting points. I'm building now and I might just try and live without one.

Strange.. 2:24-2:30 = another 6 minute order.
That's amazing.

Thanks again guys.
I might try the Shoto... can add weight with a guide rod if I want.

Thanks for all info thus far.
my smith prefers I don't get the T2 and it hasn't come up thus far as a fav. so I will likely remove that from the equation. In canada I only have to reach 160pf so maybe the bedell ti isn't the best. I have also read others that have moved away from the ti comp.
I'll see if I can get someone from Akai on the phone as I haven't heard much about them. I do see they look different on their website (3 v.ports) than what I can find (2 v.ports)
SS bedell is also an option. maybe i'll go that route.
I'm getting closer, thanks guys.

Hi all, lots already written and I have read it... buuut this is my last piece of the puzzle and have to make a decision.
9mm Major (STI build) with 5.5" bull barrel.
I have narrowed it down to:
Trubor T2
Bedell Titanium
Azone
Shoto-comp
These are based a lot on retailer and my limited ability to order (I am in Canada). I have heard lots of good things about all of them but do not have the ability to go try any at my local range.
Thanks a lot for your insight and patience.

Odd, the YES button was the only option to click... interesting poll.
I clicked it.

Just an update in case it helps anyone.
I am running the horizontal c-more with stock (not lowered) ejection port. I did some load testing today with 124gr and Silhouette powder.
* 15 pound spring and Carver Major comp, then SJC 11 port comp.
7.0gr, 7.2gr, 7.4gr, 7.5gr, 7.6gr All ran perfect with no issues at all.
7.5gr loads crono'd at ~1400fps (174pf). Sorry I didn't crono ther other loads. Chrono showed up and I only had a mag of one load left over to test.
Take home message is the SJC horizontal mount worked great for me. puts the dot close to the slide and didn't obstruct ejection of brass, even with stock ejection port.

love the 90 sjc mount.
having a bit of troube running minor loads but it has nothing to do with my mount. hope some higher pf loads will fix it up.
Im still having FTE issues. Running Carver extended ejector, with Non Loaded chamber extractor.
using .40 white bearing and extra power extractor rod spring.
Gun has SJC Cmore mount, so rounds are getting stuck side ways in slide.
Slide is Lone wolf with lowered eject port. tried 11 # to 14 # springs.
Any suggestions ?
May be an issue with the loads you're using. Whats your current recipe? My guess is, not enough oomph
I took the SJC Cmore scope mount off and put SJC micro dot mount on - problems went away.
With either loads - guns ran 100%
I done all the ejection tricks that I have read for Cmore mounts.
heavy spring on extractor
white bearing
Carver extended ejector
NLC extractor
any other tricks ? have not shimed the back plate yet.
Put all that aside....if you wanna run the full size Cmore just do the 90 degree SJC mount. In my opinion it is really the best option. My gun runs 100% with minor or major

interesting. i hope i can find a reamer around here it might make things a lot easier on my as i develop a load.

well I tried my SJC horizontal mount. I really like it. It was a quick transition from sights to optic with it being closer to the slide. Also don't have my e-port lowered and there was no issue with brass ejecting. I wouldn't go any other way.

Doesn't suprize me. from 682 (not the E) to DT-10 quality declined and small errors became more commmon (miss-aligned beads, cracks, doubling). I'm saddened but not suprized to see the DT-11 fallow suit. I shot a DT-10 around the world for 7 years and although it never left me stranded I watched others that did. Actually the original wood cracked on the stock and foreend before I put custom fit wood on.
I went back to Perazzi. the absolute cumstom fit (order what you want down to the last detail) made the difference for me. As most top guys will tell you, it doesn't matter as much what you shoot as if it fits.
IMO K-guns are different. I cant shoot them but that probably due to 20yrs of P-guns and a little time on beretta.
note: I bought a used 682 (old one, not E) for duck hunting and love it. Those were bulletproof.

Thanks, what is COM?

Just wondering if anyone knows of, or has modified a holster to work with a Glock/C-more. I'm just not crazy about rolling around on the ground with my G17 in a RaceMaster, but maybe I have no other choice.

So I did some changes & updates! Let me know what you think....
Looks good.
Identical to mine.. if I go with the SJC comp. I have the carver 10 port too.. have to compare them before I decide which to keep.

Wolff sends a striker spring with each recoil spring they sell. They are usually extra power striker springs. Since you're set up with the Carver kit, use the one it comes with.
Thanks. That makes life easier.

I have a question re: recoil spring.
I see Wolf gives you a striker spring with each of their recoil springs. Is it recommended to change those too? my 10#, 12#, and 15# striker springs all look the same. Also, my carver trigger kit came with a striker complete with spring... should I just leave the one on there that Bobby sent?

Are the TF pads the only brass ones?
-
So let me add to my question... I am relegated to 10round mags up in Canada so need a +0 base pad. Which one(s) will work with my mag and not add capacity?
-
I wonder if the only reason there are few glocks with them on is that there is only one available? I'm seeing lots on 2011 guns up here. Never shot one, but have one on it's way.

I used the Lightning Strike pads and modified them to make weight/fit the box for IDPA. I completed all the work about 3 months before Dawson released these:
Hey thanks Prreed!
As this is an open gun, and they are similar in price, which do you recommend?
the .300 Dawson or the lightning strike? the the Lightning strike any thicker (depth) than the .300 dawson? looks like it might be.
I'm thinking a little weight will help.
SJC mount holes in frame.

Frame was used with a g17 topend (comped). So yes the top and trigger assembly are unfired and the frame has ~300 rounds.
I guess I could advertize them seperately.
