  1. I don't know jack about AKs but I have heard this can speed up reloads. http://shop.solartactical.com/AK47-MFER-MAGAZINE-FUNNEL-ENHANCED-RELOAD-AK47MFER.htm
  2. Definite eye-roll on the empty gun rule; especially if you are not going to move in front(down range) of if later in the stage.
  3. Tons of great info here already but I just wanted to add another vote toward heavier bullets. (180gr) makes a world of difference or so it seems to me.
  4. Something similar to these? http://www.cabelas.com/handgun-ammunition-herters-select-grade-tnj-9mm-ammunition-dry-box.shtml
  5. Thanks a bunch for the replies! I am going to try the following things in this order. 1. Increase the COAL 2. Increase the charge 3. Change bullets If there is anything else you all think of let me know.
  6. I have been shooting a lot of my reloaded 9mms lately and I keep finding that they are just not that accurate. I am shooting a fairly new, about 1k through it, G34 with stock barrel. So this weekend I tested my ammo compared to some Factory Federal 115gr FMJ and the federal was making groups about half the size of mine(recipe below). I had a good warm up session then at 15yds shot 3 five round groups of each with the best being 4/5 touching with Federal and my ammo grouped twice as large. I have just gotten into reloading for 9mm (been doing .45, .38, 357 for years)and after a lot of time on the web, mostly here, I decided to try the following. I am loading 124gr MG FMJ, 4.2 gr of W231, with federal SPP, in mixed mostly once fired brass, COAL about 1.12in, using a Dillon 650. I don't really know on the crimp, it's just enough to remove any bell. Any Ideas on how I can improve this?
  7. Denise/JJ Thanks for another great match! We had a great squad, and I can't wait until next season. John
  8. Am I the only one that can't find the results? Help me find the LS results page please. John
  9. Denise, You will also have some ABQ 3 gunners coming up to the match this weekend. There is still room right? John
  10. I shoot Federal XM193 for everything. I find that it is nice and consistent throughout a specific lot, so I buy at leat 1-2K at a time. Be careful going from lot to lot. Also I love the ridiculous velocity (similar to a laser beam) the lot I am on now chono'd at 3202 average from a 16in 1/8! This is awesome when paired with a 300yd zero. This takes a lot of thought out of the mix as you only need to reference your drop holds for the longest of shots. Is it the most accurate round? No, but it will hit a 600 yard target if you do your part(and have a good barrel). I had no problems on any of the targets at RM3G last year.
