Buy a bottle or loctite instead.

Every gun is different, POI can also change based on bullet weight, that being said - from experience, you'll likely be fine with a .250 tall front sight.
Best bet, install rear sight of your choice and compare POI with your current front sight height and how much play you have in your elevation adjustment.

Contact Apex , see if they'll replace it. Haven't seen that before , on an aftermarket hammer.

Thanks

Nope, shot mine at a match last weekend. Plan to shoot it in L6 throughout the year as well.
Good , an L6 title could be in your future. Keep at it, son.

Interesting. So you get a full sight picture before you break each shot?
Yes, it's two full sight pictures, but given proper technique the gun should return to the same exact spot after breaking the first shot.

Yup, pretty sure - all 627/327 cylinders are cut for moons. You'll probably only see non moon cylinders when you move to the actual 27 series guns. But, I'm no historian

Icore limited ipsc revolver
Get the regular 5 inch gun then. You won't be able to utilize the compensator in icore limited or ipsc or uspsa anyway.

Out of curiosity, what's the going rate on a 8-shot Ti cylinder? My new to me TRR8 came with one and I'm trying to weight out if I want to use it or stick with the steel one.
200-300 depending on condition

Split time isn't as important as transitional speed.
That being said, proper grip will be the biggest player here when it comes to quick follow up shots.

10mm is fashionable again, can't keep 10mm 1911s on the shelf at work. The same demographic that thought 40 was too much loves the 10mm.
But why

Clays meters like poo. I've been using it for a long time.
The Xtra small powder charge bar helps, as well as attaching some sort of vibrating device on your powder drop. I use a cheap fish tank air pump electrical taped to my tube and it's helped out immensely getting consistent results dropping Clay's on my Dillon.

Start with a 38 special case, 160 grain bullet, 3.8 grains of Clay's

At the forcing cone. A .22 boresnake wouldn't go through. Got this out w a wire brush.
Just double check to make sure you dont have a timing issue , where the cylinder isnt lining up with the barrel forcing cone before firing, this could cause excessive lead shaving and have alot of build up at forcing conee

I know this is an old thread but did any of you guys have problems with the 617 and lead bullets? Mine leaded up terribly after about 200 rounds. Admittedly they were Remington Thunderbolts and I'm going away from them.
22 is generally pretty dirty by nature, Where are you seeing the leading though? Inside the barrel or at the forcing cone?

If we had the amount of engagement that we have on this thread at area matches and Nationals we wouldn't need to have this conversation.

I do not think adding optics to Revolver will do anything for increase participation, I think it would actually hurt.
Current competitors may not want to have the added cost of now having to get an optic
The cost of entry for newer competitors is going to be higher and the competitors that didn't switch to 8 rounds are not going
to dust off their 625's to get 627/929's now to add an optic.
I think that there are some other changes that could be done that might help Revolver/L10 and Single Stack with regards to max round counts at level 1 and 2 matches
and participation levels for Area matches in Appendix A2
I agree with Jake here, there is no place for an optic in regular old revolver division. I'm still a fan of modifying the rules for Carry Optics to include wheel guns with an optic, If a revolver shooter wanted to shoot with a dot C.O would be the best division for him to compete in given the Minor vs Minor aspect.
