Sparta is about 45 min from down town St. Louis with pretty much anything you might want to do. About 30 min from Belleville which is a good sized town with plenty of restaurants and "stuff" And there are restaurants and the typical small town stuff in Sparta and all the surrounding communities There is a nice restaurant and bar on site at the World Shooting Complex with good food, and we plan on having a get-together there each night

Working on having round counts a little more specific than "a lot" out shortly. No real special "rules" about ammo other than birdshot being limited to 2-3/4" shells of size 7-1/2 or smaller shot. No high brass bunker buster stuff for this one

Yes, ammo with steel jackets or core are OK on paper targets.

Stages will not be posted prior to the match. All rifle will be inside 40 yds for this month's match. Slugs and buckshot have been eliminated for this month's match since many shooters are having a hard time finding them right now. Hope to see you out there!

Any magazine fed semi-auto that has a safety and allows you to lock the bolt back is good to go for the Tactical .22 Division. The rules for pistol and shotgun (including minimum caliber requirements) are the same as Tactical-Optics. There is no differentiation between iron sights and optics in the Tactical .22 division. No problem shooting just part of the match, just let us know when you sign in that you will be leaving early.

There are two that are commonly used. The Bianchi plate racks have 8" circles and 20" spacing. A lot of other ones out there including ours have 8" circles and 14" spacing. TG What are the benefits of training on one vs. the other? Obviously if you are training for the Bianchi Cup then using 20" centers would be beneficial, but what about if you are training for 3-gun and might be shooting the plate rack with rifle, pistol, or shotgun?
