hold the bolt to the rear and pull the trigger back, usually that will lock the action open on most AK's.

I wont buy anything from STI, I have had 2 bad customer expierences with them. I have 1 STI pistol in 40 and 3 SVI's. Its obvious SVI makes a much better gun and takes more time in the the cosmetic things.

I think the CED 6000 is way better than the CED 8000. I think out of the 8 or 9 I played with only 2 worked properly, thats not a good average. I have had a CED 6000 for about 8 years and I like it. PACT and ProTimer make good units also.

.223 and .380 are the same shellplate (#3) that work for .38 super rimless/comp the 9mm and 38super take the #5 shellplate and both plates use the #3 buttons

exactly how do you head space an AR ? You cant move the barrel back and the bolt will only go so far.

I have shot the 25-2 and 625 in ICORE but not IPSC our minor load is 3.5gr of WST on a 230 FMJ. Try to stay away from Winchester bullets, we have found that they are not accurate and are often undersized. Hope this helps also.
