  1. I love the results that I've had with HP-38, but I'm not a fan of 147 Gr. slugs. I stick to the lighter ones, using 125, 115, and even down to 95 and 90 Gr bullets, mostly plated. I wouldn't hesitate to use this powder with anything within reason.
  2. I've had great luck with TiteGroup for 9MM, .40 and .45. I enjoy experimenting with different powders. I've used TiteGroup, WST, Universal Clays, HS6, Unique, 231, H110, H38, 700X,. etc., etc., ect. I like them all, even the American Select.
  3. I like 231 and WST. I've used 231 for many more years, but I have had great results with the 10 or 12 lbs of WST that I've gone through so far. Unfortunately, the powder selection around here has become spotty, to say the least.
  4. I love HP38, but I've had some issues with Clays being dirty and having unburnt powder. Also, as noted above HP-38 meters very well - better than most.
  5. I only wish I could fin some more Zero bullets. Right now I'm stuck with Berry's since that's all I can find.
  6. That's amazing to me. I have a G34 that I've owned for at least 8 years. Took it to the steel plate match, tried everything to make it fail, and I 've never had even one ftf in at least 3,000 rounds. I don't have any aftermarket parts on it except for an extended slide release. Good luck.

    HK P30L

I shoot a P30 in 9MM and I've often wondered if the P30L would have a more controllable recoil impulse. I have arthritis and I'm becoming more sensitive to recoil as it gets worse. I find that the P30 seems to generate more recoil than most of my 9's, except for the very small ones, like the SA EMP.
  8. Alscott, I have a P30 and I have also noticed that the HK has more perceived recoil than most of my Glocks. The P30 in 9MM seems to recoil about like a G23 in .40. At least that's my subjective impression. It certainly seemed to want to jump around quite a bit.
  9. Does anyone know where I might find the 16 round mags for the new model 16 round EAA Witness Polymer-P-S? I've seen 13 round mags, but they are a different frame design (shorter grip). This new polymer model is a full-size grip with a barrel that stops at the end of the slide (about a 3 19/32" barrel). I've searched the internet with no luck. The green factory Tanfoglio box even states "new model". It looks like I might have to wait quite a while for these mags to get in the pipeline, and the pistol only ships with 1 (one) mag. I think 16 rounds is great, but I always like to have at least one extra mag, or 4 extras if I'm going to use it for steel plate matches, which I might.
