Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. What a day! Was doing well with the rest of the stages. Getting ready to shoot a classifier and did not check my magazine only had 2 rds in it!!!!! No reloads so my question is, I would have gotten a procedural if I did a reload and shot it right?
  2. Got a notification 12:57 pm. Completed the order in 2 minutes for 2 units. I think 10 minutes after, they were all sold out!!
  3. I finally got it off. Had to use a prying tool to separate. The tongue / groove was really tight!! I cannot even mock fit them back without banging them together.
  4. Does anybody have a specific technique to remove thw ambi safety on this kind of pistol? I have removed the safeties on my other 2 1911 type and i have never encountered it to be this hard!!
  5. hmmm...it might be an interesting weekend then.
  6. i would assume you did not back out your loads?
  7. can anyone confirm that FEDERAL premium magnum primers have the same explosive content as FEDERAL small pistol primer but have a thicker cup? I have read this on the internet and it has been a week of leaving messages on federal tech support to get a confirmation to no avail..
  8. You should be ok as long as you take your time. Do not force it if any binding occurs. That means something is not in right. Also, to ease reloading, use a case lube even if your dies are carbide. Makes it easier. Oal slightly differs.
  9. this is what I did with my bar sto barrel. 5.2 @ 1.180 with 168 PF average for 10 shots.
  10. another +1 to TGS. fast shipping and good prices.
  11. I use 1.09 montana gold JHP 124 grain. longer than 1.120ish then i start having feeding/rifling contact
  12. Another vote for 650. although the SDb is a great piece of machinery by itself, the 650 tops it with versatility.
