  1. As long as it only extends the length of the release and does not increase the surface area of the button, that is my understanding.
  2. I am shooting an XDm 5.25, and at first I was using the XD holster and mag pouches, but have recently made some upgrades. A good belt is money well spent, I am using the CR Speed 2 piece belt, really like it, nice to know all your gear is in the same spot each time. I got two of the double pouches Jean posted a link to (thought I got a good deal at $15 shipped each on ebay....) For the money I think they work great, all I have done with them is cut the paddle so they can fit side by side and they dont really need the "paddle" with them mounted on the stiff CR Speed belt. I just upgraded to the Blade Tech DOH holster, getting use to the different mounting position of it, I have an issue with my thumb jamming into when gripping the gun fast, dont recall having that issue with my other holsters. If you are handy with tools I would say get the PRP Ultimate Trigger Kit, I installed this myself (world of difference), just take your time and follow the youtube video, pretty straight forward, the most time consuming part for me filing the trigger for the over travel stop. At the same time I installed the .100 extended mag release. For me the front sight blade was too thick, could not see enough day light around it in the post, so I had a thinner Dawson front sight installed, but have not been able to get out and shoot it yet. I installed the PRP rubber grip stickers, a friend had the grip type style, and was a little to agressive for my taste right now.
  3. Can I join in on the fun? My number is A75170. I have only shot in 2 matches so far, so I am unranked, and none of the classifiers have been listed on the USPSA website yet, so hoping for an innitial C Ranking. Oh yea I am shooting in Production. Thanks Kelly
  4. I shot my match yesterday with 4.0gr of Titegroup behind MG 124gr JHP with mixed brass. I thought it shot very good, consistantly two Alpha hits per target, and it is around 135pf out of the 5.25. Have not had any malfunctions with this load yet.
  5. IPSC Shot Timer just updated today and now you can add tenths of seconds to the par time, so that app will be a litte more usefull for timing your dry fire practice.
  6. Gene I have the Practiscore installed on my phone if you want to check it out, as well as the IPSC Shot Timer. The bad thing about the shot timer is that par times can only be set to the full second, no tenths...

I have a Blade Tech DOH for my XDm 9 5.25" and so far I am very happy with it.
  8. Shooting an XDm 9mm 5.25 in production. CR Speed belt, Blade Tech DOH holster (thanks Shooters Connection), 2 double mag pouches I got off Ebay ($16 each shipped, been happy with them so far) and 5 mags.
  9. I had only loaded up the 20 test rounds, but just shooting free hand at 10 yards they were grouping well in the center of the a zone, but I also was not shooting for a true group size. I did shoot a 5 round group in the upper a zone, so i have a feeling the are as accurate as I am at my current level.
  10. I loaded up two different loads for the XDm 9mm 5.25 and took them to the range and here is resulting data. 3/10/2012 SA XDm 9mm 5.25 Comp Sunny 64 deg Montana Gold JHP 124 gr 4.0 gr Titegroup COL 1.120 FPS PF 1046 129.7 1096 135.9 1099 136.3 1095 135.8 1096 135.9 1107 137.3 1065 132.1 1078 133.7 1062 131.7 1103 136.8 1095 135.8 1082 134.2 1093 135.5 1107 137.3 1093 135.5 1097 136 1094 135.7 1086 134.7 1115 138.3 1084 134.4 1089.7 135.1 Average 1094.5 135.8 Median 1096 135.9 Mode 16.6 2.1 Std Dev 1115 138.3 Max 1046 129.7 Min Montana Gold JHP 124 gr 4.3 gr Titegroup COL 1.120 FPS PF 1180 146.3 1174 145.6 1183 146.7 1190 147.6 1192 147.8 1172 145.3 1171 145.2 1194 148.1 1161 144 1156 143.3 1173 145.5 1174 145.6 1183 146.7 1180 146.3 1197 148.4 1176 145.8 1198 148.6 1194 148.1 1192 147.8 1188 147.3 1181.4 146.5 Average 1181.5 146.5 Median 1180 146.3 Mode 11.8 1.5 Std Dev 1198 148.6 Max 1156 143.3 Min
  11. Picked up a new XDm 9mm Comp yesterday Cannot wait to get out to the range tomorrow (hopefully weather will cooperate) and put a few rounds through it. Just started shooting USPSA and will be using this for the production division. Need to start seeing what rounds it likes, currently loading 115gr plated RN with 4.2 gr of Titegroup COL 1.125 for my FNP-9, will see how those do. Is the stock paddle holster "usable" till I can order in a new one? Was thinking the Bladetech DOH from the reviews I have read. Thanks Kelly
  12. I was talking with a guy at the Milton-Freewater range last weekend and it sounded like they were trying to get enough people there to start holding matches, told him to put my name down as interested. I was happy for my first time out with nerves and everything, but I see I have plenty to work on I drive through Touchet every day, live in College Place, work in Richland. Nick - the group out at Rattle Snake Range shoot the third sunday of the month (EWPSA)and I thought I heard someone say that there is a group that shoots the 4th Sunday of the month in Yakima.
  13. Just thought I would say hi. I am in the Walla Walla / Tri-Cities area, new to this sport just shot my first match a few weeks ago and I am hooked. Just trying to get geared up and learn as much as I can.
