I go to their site and it says that the ordering page is offline for maintenence. How are people ordering

Obviously thats not the case all the time. There are other bullet makers who haven't raised their prices...yet. That is their choice but the reality is when more people want your product than you can sell to you can raise your prices. The only thing that will bring prices down is reduced demand and that should be happening soon as people start to realize the sky is not falling. Pat So in your opinion mg is just using the increase demand to pad their pockets? I'm not saying thats wrong but is that what you think?

They are kind of busy making bullets. Pat Bullshit. The people who make bullets are busy making bullets, the person in charge of the website (probably a seperate company) is not.

A website being down for weeks is not good communication in my opinion.

That is freeking unbelievable, ANOTHER PRICE INCREASE. Had a increase from July 2012 of $320 to $348 a 8% increase then another one from the November price of $340 to $348, little over 2% can deal with than but from $348 to $370 another 6%...total of 16% in basically 8 months when they have SOOOO much business they had to shut down their online ordering site...maybe if we all stop agreeing to being held up the price may come back down to a respectable/affordable level....I doubt it but this is getting out of hand... Did you ever think that maybe a business would invest this money to buy more equipment, so that they can make us more bullets? Presses, dies, electricity, healthcare, etc. all cost money, and these bullets are still very competitively priced. Bueller? Do you think they just call up the manufacturer and order a bullet making machine and it shows up a week later? I doubt it. Those machines are probably custom made and at least a few months out. Maybe they hired some temp workers to box up and ship out the bullets but those machines run 24/7 if you have the staff. Maybe its people working overtime and they work a third shift now? My guess is they are paying more for labor. However it would be nice if they told us what the F is going on. I like mg but please communicate with the customers. It's not hard to put a blurb on the website.

50 dollar a case increase? Waaaaa? Metal prices haven't jumped lately. Maybe they hired more people?

Once you set the dies on the sdb you are good to go. Just pop the toolhead off pull out the dies and pop the new ones in. Easy peasy

The perfect Chronograph?
Babaganoosh replied to 340Weatherby's topic in Chronograph Equipment & Techniques
I don't need all that to chrono a few strings. Might be cool but I chrono about 20 every time I change a load or get a new batch of powder. I dont need all those bells and whistles -
Square deal B isn't that hard to learn on at all. Once you set it up you dont have to change the settings. I have a hornady lnl and a sdb. I have the sdb set up in my apt, the lnl in my dads basement. I gotta say that I like both presses but I think the sdb is the most underrated press for loading pistol ammo. It's simple, reliable, makes great ammo and has Dillons great warranty. It's progressive so you dont have to manually index it. I say go with the sdb. No questions asked.

Why overpay 5 Xs what the Vibra Prime costs just to say you have a fancy, expensive hunk of junk that does the same thing? My Vibra Prime has been going strong for 4+ years and I love it. I use it every day. I'll NEVER pick up primers the old way ever again. Hunk of junk? Lol. Ok man. Have you read the current vibra prime reviews? Seems to me the vibra prime is a hunk of junk. Made in china by slave labor crap.

You get what you pay for. Pal filler here too and it works great.

It works very well. I've run at least 20k of various brass thru mine. I had the frankford arsenal first but what a mess. I have a home built tumbler and use 10 pounds of pins at a time and 9 pounds of brass. A little water in the bottom so the cage splashes thru and you're good to go. I also have a floor dryer that I aim on the brass after to dry it off quicker. Works well. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0043235K8/ref=mw_dp_mpd?pd=1&qid=1363095484&sr=8-1
