  1. I hate USPS package tracking.....which isn't. Tells you once when they ship it and maybe once along the way. UPS tracks every step of the way in real time, every single time it's scanned. Oh well, at least I got it.

  2. I've used the CR Speed in the left handed version. It is quite fast and secure. The lever which locks the gun in is very intuitively positioned for a RIGHT handed shooter to be moved on and off with the trigger finger, but when worn on the left side requires you to reach into the inside side of the holster from the front or back to flip it on or off. Kind of annoying.

  3. I'd also say that RO's need to quit trying so hard to catch the competitors ejected round and keep focused on the gun handling going on. I've seen a few almost loose their balance trying to catch it. It's a distraction they impose on themselves when they need to be observing the shooter and the weapon.

  4. try calling the roads department in your city or county area. They can adjust things like that if they are unreasonable. They will, however, never know it's a problem unless you tell them.

  5. I've carried a Glock on patrol for three years and shot competition with it also and I activate the normal safety with the middle finger of my left hand. Makes for very positive disengagement of the mag.

  6. Hey guys/gals,

Searched and found this thread - http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...l=glock+barrels , but it didn't address my specific concerns.

I currently am shooting limited with a .40 STI. I am a cop and carry a Glock 22, which I shoot A LOT (gotta make up for the officers that don't ;) ) I have access to a lot of training ammo also - we shoot Speer Gold Dot for quals and practice. The thing is, I would like to use all that once fired nice nickel brass to reload for my STI. I know that the unsupported chamber of my duty Glock barrel makes reloading not as safe overall, as the brass from a supported chamber, even though there are solutions to make it work. I also don't want to hammer my STI using that powerful short OAL duty ammo all the time.

Soooo, my question is, could a drop in fully supported barrel, say from Bar-Sto or KKM, be used interchangeably in my duty gun with no ill effects to either one? My duty gun is brand new, as of a couple months. And when I say interchangebly, I mean switch barrel, shoot practice session and then drop back in duty barrel....rinse and repeat. Also, are they completely drop-in, i.e. no gunsmithing, as my dept doesn't allow it.

Thank you very much for you help in advance!

    Alan
