  1. It's luck of the draw. Some folk have mags that work right out of the box, others not. I was one of the latter group. It took a few months to get my mags to work properly. The tell tale sign is usually double feeds, and this usually means that you need to correct the mag lips. I resorted to the Dawson Precision Mag Tuning Kit. But if you add all the extra money you spend on basepads, the tuning kit and stress, you would be much better off buying tuned mags from the outset.
  2. And we're getting Target in Canada, and folk are excited about it. Go figure.
  3. Some food for thought, and may be the reason my Dillon 650 throws such erratic powder measures. That and the massive temperature/humidity swings we experience (Canada). Perhaps I should be more disciplined at emptying the hopper, and see if that makes a difference.
  4. Bought it on your recommendation. At first glance it seems to have merit. It flashes up a target and incorporates verbal and audio cues. I used to design similar setups using PowerPoint, but it became a hassle. The only downside, I have found, is you can't terminate a session once it has started, until it reaches your preset end. A minor irritant.
  5. Yes, the Firearms Control Act has been so effective at disarming the population that South Africa now has the largest migration of skilled people outside of a war zone. Hell, there are 10,000 of us in Calgary, Canada alone. But, hey, welcome to the forum from an expat and an ex-SAP member (1984-1989).
  6. Nee, daar is meer as 'n paar van ons. Translated: No, there are more than a couple of us.
