  1. If the trigger is your main concern, and you like the rest of the things about your M&P, their triggers can be made very, very good. I will def. keep and do some work on the M&P, just saw where Apex has a real nice trigger for it. I've always been a 1911 fan (I carrya 1911 for a conceal carry firearm). I am just looking to purchase one and doing some reasearch on calibers.
  2. Welcome to the forum. I just started 2 months ago and I'm hooked. This is the best place for information other than the guys at the match. Good luck! Chris
  3. Thank you for the information Mr. Merricks and Warp.
  4. This may be a stupid question, but why the preference of .38 super over 9mm. The .38 is a larger bullet that moves slower than a 9mm? Thanks, Chris
  5. Mr. Merricks - Yes it would be factory for now- Just got my press and teachign myself to reload so it would be a little while before I start using reloads for matches. EEH- Thansk for the heads up Warp- Thanks for the info Thanks, Chris
  6. I current shoot a SW M&P pro .40 in limited but I am more comfortable with a 1911 trigger. I started to look at a STI or Infinity for my next USPSA firearm. My questions is does normally the .38 super in 125 gr or 129gr meet the 165 power factor? I am going to shoot open later so trying to keep the same caliber for both if possible. Thanks, Chris
  7. I run comp tac and have no issues what so ever
  8. I use comp tac holster, belt, and mag pouches

  11. I am a new shooter (USPSA) and invested in a M&P pro .40. I am going to shoot limited/ major (I shoot normal 180 grain rds) I know I need to spend a ton of money on ammo and range fees, need alot of pratice to get better. I was going to start upgrading the firearm while I do this. I was looking at SSS- What should I start with? AEK kit? Guide rod? Barrel? Just looking for some advice or feedback. Thanks everyone! Chris

  15. Normally what do you bring to 3 gun to use for ammo. I know slugs (try low recoil vs high power) but what other types of ammo should I try and pratice with? My super nova is a fixed cylinder choke. I am shoping for a M2, 930, 1100, etc so praticing with the Nova for now. New to the sport. Thanks in advance.
  16. I am new to USPSA. I am going to shoot a couple handguns while I get my rifle for the 3 gun. My question is what ammo can I use? I am new and match ammo compared to non-match is not going to make a huge difference in my shooting. Thanks for any help you can provide! Chris
