  1. Guys, I'm a long time reloader, since the late 60's.. I do not shoot pistol competition although I have shot about 20 years of competitive benchrest - group shooting.. OK, I hate to even ask this but have to learn somehow.... What is the difference between the 9 major and the standard 9x19. For instance, can 9 major loads be approached in a Glock with an aftermarket barrel with a supported chamber ? No compensator.. Would appreciate any help in understanding this..
  2. Hmm, perhaps I'm attempting to go where prudent souls are loathe to tread !!! Thanks again for all the input. Pat
  3. I was away from the computer for a bit.. The why; I like Glocks in general. I have the opportunity to ride around in the country at times where small game is available.. Seemed like the 9mm major loads are very close to .357 with 125's.. That is the sole reason at this time for wanting to explore these hot 9mm loads... Again, I know this is a competition forum and apologize for asking these questions here.. Pat
  4. No, it does not have a compensator... Is that necessary to use major loads.. As you can probably guess, this is not for competition and I apologize if I have posted this in the wrong place. Pat
  5. New member here. I have a Glock 22 with a KKM 40-9 barrel that is advertised as having a "supported" chamber.. Can I safely use 9mm major loads is this pistol ? Thanks for any input. pat
