I am in Canada and cant find anything about these holsters.

I have been using a cr speed and ghost and not really king on the daa stuff. Too gimmicky.

does anybody know where I can find info about the everglades in Canada.

I’ve got one of the original SLB holsters from Europe. Pretty sure I have a couple extras. If you’re interested send me a PM.

My video review from a few years ago - don’t mind my channel, I haven’t done much with it for a few years

  2. Good thing for the search feature. Read all 7 pages of this thread and tried most of the suggestions. Still get 2 or 3 out of 100 that don't seat properly and/or are crushed ...... This machine has already been back to dillon for work on the lower end (toolhead twisting) but at that time I never had one primer issue. Get it back and primers are my bane ...

Gonna go back to it on the weekend .....

  3. Wow, you can change your name to greedy. Lol. Very nice looking and I'm sure running pistols. I like a Limcat, 2 is more than twice as nice.

Greedy or just too much $ to spend? LoL

Thanks, they are absolutely phenomenal. Johnny did a great job with them.

I had Tanfoglio Limited Custom guns prior, so moving to the 2011 platform is a bit of a change for me. The trigger and grip feels quite different than those guns. Shouldn't take me long to get into them.

  4. Ordered the first one 22 February 2012. Before it was done, decided to order another, which was 1 July 2012. Since I'm in Canada, they had to go through exporting, importing, etc. Guns were complete and received by the exporter 7 December 2012. I received them on Thursday .... over a year waiting, but damn, it was worth it!!

  5. Eric is unreal, as others have pointed out here already. If you have a chance, take a course with him. I was lucky enough to have 2 days one on one with him this summer while we were in France. It was incredible, just watching his movement. That's where his real secret lies. He MOVES more efficiently than anyone else.

    2 days, 2200 rounds later ....

The only downside was, my wife now has a crush on him ... :roflol::goof:

  6. What happens if that piece isn't there?

You won't get full travel with the primer slide.

    Searched this thread ...

My tube broke (cracked) so I replaced it with one in the spare parts kit. That's when my troubles started. I trimmed it and made sure it wasn't rubbing anywhere, but the slide just kept sticking, stopping about 3/8" away from where it is supposed to stop. I kept fiddling with it and at one point the hose just popped off, and dropped out. After that, the slide went exactly where it should, smooth as butter, no hose on it.

    What gives?

  7. I was lucky enough to be able to try them out on Eric's guns while I was in France in July.

I have Henning's gris on my guns. Exactly as ogiebb said, the contour on the back makes the feel quite a bit slimmer. Eric specifically designed it like that and he pointed out the differences between the aluminum, the Henning, and his. He tried several different styles of checkering and worked with a machinist to get the lines right on the back strap.

He also tried different materials, including solid brass, which I tried as well. HEAVY!

But in general, they look and feel great. He worked on the design for quite a while to get it right and IMO he did a good job of it

  8. Well I had no idea that someone had embedded my video. I missed this thread completely until it was just pointed out to me.

I've used this holster for well over a year now. I started with the one that had the claw which retained the muzzle. I much prefer this model with the magnets. I got both versions direct from Finland, but the new ones obviously have the USA logo on them.

IMO it's the best holster I've used as far as functionality goes. Fit and finish has something to be desired.

  9. I purchased that machine in the YouTube video above. It came with one die, in 9mm. Currently it is with my machinist and he is building different dies for other calibers. I should have it in a month or so, ready to go in 9mm, .40, .45, .38S

    Cost breakdown:

$2650 for the machine (no case feeder)

    $850 shipping/importing/tax/duty

I haven't gotten a price on the 3 new dies yet but if I had to guess it will be around $900 for all 3

  10. My vote goes for the CR Speed. Great holster.

CR speed is difficult to make work properly with the large square trigger guard of the Tanfo. Quite a bit of modification needs to be made and even after that the gun isn't as stable as it is with other holsters.
