Too_slow thanks for the quick reply, should they be the same size? I have about 5 powder throwers, two are reasonably new however I also have a few which are probably close to 15 years old which I had with my original 550B. Of the two that are new one is brand new with the new press and the other is probably 5 years old.

Hi All, I recently purchased an XL650 press which I have setup for 38 Super, I would like to use the press to load both production and open class ammo. All of the dies are setup correctly I have loaded both sets of ammo using the same dies and just changing over the powder thrower. My problem is that when I switch between the different powder throwers the case belling changes from one powder thrower to the other. This means the change over takes a bit of time stuffing around with different die heights. I thought I would be able to just undo the two small allen key bolts and change over to the different powder thrower. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get this to work? Worst case I will need to buy another plate and a new set of dies and run to completely different setups? Cheers Dave

Hi Coco, Thanks for posting there is some excellent info. Could you please post up a couple of photo's with it setup around the XL650? I am ordering my unit through Grafs so it would be pretty handy to see it setup. I will have the same issue with the strong mount mentioned above so will just use a piece of 4x4. When you ordered the unit through Graf's did you also need to order the bullet feeder die? On the hornday web site it says sold separately? Cheers Dave
