  1. CZ 75 what is the trigger pull?

  2. Looking for a gunsmith that has good reputation for working with 9mm barrel/bushing work on 1911s. Thanks.
  3. Can anyone PM me the contact info for a gunsmith who can get my 1911 9mm down to a RELIABLE 2.5 - 2.75#? Thanks.
  4. I know I can purchase kits from Henning, etc. but prefer to find a gunsmith with experience to get my SA only trigger down to reliable 2 to 2.5 lbs. Can anyone recommend a gunsmith for this job? I'm thinking of buying the 600340 model with cone barrel and SA trigger and not sure I want to do the work myself. Thanks.
  5. I spoke with Charles. Nice chap. Kit cost $186.00. Charles will install for $75 + shipping to send it back to me
  6. Thanks, I'll give him a call although pricier than a trigger job where the smith is actually doing all the work. I'm always suspicious of the term "drop in" kit.
  7. Anyone know a gunsmith who can get a 1911 trigger pull down to a consistent and safe 2#? This will be used exclusively as a lower for a .22lr Marvel Unit 1 upper. Thanks.
  8. Also, the Po Shop online store has functionality issues.
  9. I recently bought a used one for $525. Sent it to MOJO Joe at Brush Creek. Now has bobbed seletonized hammer, 5# DA pull, and puts 12 rounds into 5/8" CTC at 25 yards.
  10. I heard that they were excellent so I ordered a paid from S&W and they sent me a post card saying they were on back order.
  11. I had a pair of electronic muffs but on a hot day they were uncomfortable. I ordered a pair of ear "tubes" from the NRA store that claimed a higher protection than most muffs. They are extremely light weight, don't cause me to sweat, and do the job. They cost about $30.00.
  12. I've been using a soft range bag and was wondering waht advantage a hard range box has? It would seem that the hard case would weigh more?
  13. Just got back from the range to compare the Stock to my Elite Match 9mm. Sunny and hot with no wind. Outdoor shooting distance 25 yards with a two hand hold. Used 50 rounds 185gr JHP reloads. Used all 4 magazines to check function. Not one misfeed or problem. Accuracy was OK. Here's a pic of my first group before I adjusted the sights. Once adjusted I was pretty much in the 10 ring. Bottom line, it's good, but . . . . . I much prefer the SAO trigger of my Elite Match in 9mm as well as lower recoil.
  14. Well I decided on the Stock and will post a range report soon. It all had to do with my preference for the wonder finish as opposed to an all blue. I also liked the definition of the sight picture from the supersight on the Stock.
  15. Sorry if this is a stoopid question. If you are looking to have ejected shells land closer to your position would you go to a stiffer spring or a lighter one?
  16. Nobody? Well after some research it appears that the notible difference is in the squared trigger guard on the II.
  17. Other than barrel length and sights are there any differences? What magazines are recommended?
  18. Interesting to learn. I would imagine that there might be a difference if one was manufactured looser?
  19. My LGS has a used original Stock (circa 2006) and a Hunter from the same time period, both in .45acp and both are like 99%. Which would be more accurate with tighter groups for paper punching? Both have cone barrels and of course using iron sights a 6" sight radius would have an advantage over a 5" one. The Stock does have the Supersight.
  20. I'm looking for info on the 2006 Stock .45 and cannot find any review or comments on that iteration. I assume that it is different from the Stock II but what are the differences? What type of trigger, barrel, etc.? Thanks for any info.
  21. Thinking of getting one. Was wondering if it would be more accurate than a 625? [deleted]
  22. Note: topics merged. - Admin. Does anyone have any pics of groups they have shot with their 610? Thanks.
  23. I'm looking to use this for combat matches and need tight groups at 50 yards. This will be for .45acp only. Was thinking Hunter but they no longer have the cone barrel, but neither does the Match. Can anyone help me out as to their experiece based solely on accuracy (group size). Thanks.
  24. I'm thinking of trading my fairly new Springfield Range Officer for a .45acp revolver. I use the .45 mainly for combat type matches. Would I be better off looking for a S&W 625 with a 4" or 5" bbl? Regular 625 vs. PC vs. JM?What about a S&W 25 with 6" bbl? I do not want DA only. Looking for accuracy not cosmetic looks. Any feedback based on experience will be appreciated.
