  1. I just bought the Glock 35 a month ago and ordered the LWD barrel at the same time. It's my first time developing loads for it... I'm using a standard Lee carbide die. Looks like I'll order the undersized die. It's funny that it seems like I'm only having this issue with PMC cases. The Win, FC, etc aren't having this issue with the LWD barrel.
  2. I loaded about 50 test rounds through my 650 the other day using mixed brass. The first station is a Lee sizer die. Anyway, once I got the rounds loaded, I put each one through my LWD barrel. I noticed most of the ones loaded with PMC cases would not chamber in the LWD barrel but would chamber fine in the factory Glock barrel. Is it my die causing this or is it the brass? I've never had this happen before and I've been reloading for about 7 years.
  3. The $2k applied if I were to not wait and buy now. If the new Benelli is really worth more, then I may have to adjust
  4. Thanks for the feedback, folks. I think I'll call both Mark and Benny and see what they can do with my preferences.
  5. I would like to get into 3 gun and currently am only lacking a shotgun. I have a Saiga 12 but don't want to shoot open. Anyway, I'd like to buy something by Jan 2012. I hear Mossberg and Benelli are both coming out with shotguns tailored to this sport. Does anyone know when they might hit the stores? If I can't get one by Jan 2012, then I'm thinking of just getting a Benelli Vinci, M2 or SLP. My budget is around $2k so that gives me a good range of who to send the gun to for reliability/tuning. It'd be a lot easier if I can get the same performance out of the box but I don't want to wait too long.
  6. After the bump fire, I function checked it and made sure the disconnector caught the hammer. It seemed to be functioning properly. I also checked to make sure there was no debris.
  7. I just built a rifle for 3-gun and shot it today. It has JP LMOS carrier, buffer, spring, and a Geissele s3g. I sighted in a Tac30 and chrono'd some new loads at 25 yds and it ran flawlessly for 80rds (5 rds at a time). I took it to the 50yd line to sight in and immediately did a 3 shot "bump fire." I didn't change anything from the 25yd line. Same trigger pull (slooooooow), same cheek weld, etc. I couldn't figure it out. When loading one round at a time, the bolt caught on the empty mag. When loading one at a time without mag, the hammer would follow after the shot and would probably cause a bump fire. Not sure why it would not act out for 80rds but then all of a sudden just start bumping. Anything i can do to stop this? Maybe pull the trigger harder?
  8. I was in the same boat and also got the JP LMOS buffer and spring. I went with an Ace ARFX. I like the length as well as the weight. I'm going to go lightweight on my build with 16" barrel.
  9. I did the BARC this past month and to to go to Chabot every now and then. I'm sure I've seen you around.
  10. Hey, y'all. Just wanted to say hi. I'm pretty new here but have been interested in shooting competitively since early 2000. I've done matches here and there but just recently got the "bug". I won a Loki 16" 1 in 8 twist barrel a few weeks ago and am starting to build it up into my match gun. Looking forwarding to reading up on all the info here so I can have more fun doing the local matches.
  11. Anyone know of a shop that has the JP LMOS in stock? I ordered from JSE last week but just found out they don't have it.
