  1. I switched to the Meopta K-dot from the Eotech this year. The Meopta rocks! From bright snows days to cloudy days it has not washed out. I like the eotech better from 1-30 yds probably 10% faster. The meopta really makes the difference past 150 yds. Real clear glass for the money. The reticle is great for 3gun 200 -350 yd targets.
  2. I know several precision shooters that shoot varget and get great results. Ive seen a five inch group @ 800 yds with a .260 up at camp gurnsey. I use it with 75g BTHP on my .223. - sub moa- have to crunch it a bit but no big deal. The best thing is its temperature insensitivity.
  3. Personally, I prefer the pistol grip - loading weakhand. The pistol grip allows you to contol the cant while reloading easier. I also feel it makes it easier to drive the gun. As far as felt recoil.... most everyone shoot is 2 3/4 wimpy birdshot and low reciol slugs... I prefer the pistol grip for transitioning from strong to weak shoulder. It comes down to knowing how to use what you have.
  4. I am undecided about the P.G. But I do know that Taran Bulter kicks everyones ass with his super 90 w/pistol grip. Just an observation not a proclamation.
  5. Mystery Mountain is alot of fun. Great stage design - multi-gun stages. Great Prize table. RM3G at Raton: A close second. The Whittington center is the best place for a 3gun match. The guy's there know what makes for a fun match and they use open terrain - more fun for run and gun.
