i have a dp mounted on my m&p 9mm open gun and have shot around 1,000 rds.in it and it works great .my son and i just shot it at the psa shootout with over 500 rds in 2days . jerry

i just got my mag . extensions from speed shooters .thanks ken , you did a great job .

yes , i did all the work myself .i put 2 more cuts on each side on the top of the slide ,put all of apexs parts inside and did a stippling job to the grips sinch i posted that photo .i am shooting 4.6 gr. of titgroup and 115 berry bullets .i will try and load another pic if i can .thanks . jerry

no i did not change the finish on the slid ,i bought that gun like that at cabelas .no the bll. and comp .were true drop ins .me and my kid ran 80 rds. through it today and it ran perfect .i shot 15 rds. at 7 yds. from a rest and it made one round hole 3/4 inch dia. jerry i shot the gun this weekend in my first open match and it worked perfectly .it was a real joy to shoot . jerry

i am glade you like the gun .i made a new slide racker it is a little smaller with less knurling .i drilled and taped the slide for 1/4 28 thread ,will try and post a new pic . jerry

i also put a kkm bbl . and comp. on my open gun i just built .i can not thank them enough for the guick service and help they gave me .what a great company to buy from . jerry

i am going to slim it down a little so jeremy does not hit his dumb thumb .the jerk .i am going to finish up my little bit of tight group i have tha i am going to the hs-6 you told me about .i do not want to shoot major with it ,ijust want it to run .i ordered a 13 lb. guid spring for it .thanks for the koo due. jerry

i shot about 20 rds. and had 4 failure to open slide .i am goiny to up my load a little and put a 13# spring in it. i shoot 115 rn .with about 4.6 of tightgroup .i am going to switch to hs-6 when my powder is all.i will keep you posted on my results. thank you jerry

i have 3 m&p pro model guns and i have apex kits in all of them .i just did the open gun this morning and it brought it down to 2 1/2 lbs .just like the other 2 guns are. great kits . jerry

does any body make a threaded bbl. for the 5 inch pro so i can screw on a muzzle brake ? i want to build an open gun . jerry

i just put 2 of the apex comp. kit s in my guns and am going to put one in my open gun .they are fantastic . jerry

for many years i used 3031 with the 75 grn. sierra bullet.just check the starting load in their load book . jer

i have a rem. 700 tactical with a 6x18 leupold on it .it has a 20 inch barrel on it .it just loves hornady 75 gr. tap ammo ,and handloads of 52 gr. berger bullets with 26grs.h335 powder and 28 grs .of h380 with same bullet .
