Got an email from Practiscore this morning saying I could now pay & squad on my match management page. Went there, & it says they aren't accepting online payment & to follow instructions on registration page. If anyone figures out how to pay & squad, please post it up!

Got the same Email Need to get this firmed up, Have to make travel and lodging reservations.

  2. Zack,

I've not had a chance to reply. The entire match comes back not found! I checked the numbers and manually updated and all the numbers go in as entered, no issues. it appears that there is something amiss in the system. I could be wrong. I don't have access right now to the match files so I can't send them to you.

This is not a new issue. It has been happening for about three months, I just never got around to sending a note.

  3. I looked and I didn't see an answer, but I'll admit I could have missed it.

    Here is my question/problem.

I have updated to the latest version of Practiscore in my IPad. I have no issues except that classifications don't update and the report comes back that the shooters can't be found in the classification database.

  4. Wow, Never used? You still do scores on paper?

We have all we need, so I can't help there, but 35 shooters running 5-6 stages is a lot of data entry. I have been stats for 16 years or so and I would NEVER go back to paper. We still have errors and we still have no score entered on occasion, that doesn't change, but we have the scores done by the time we leave the range. and if someone has a hotspot the scores are posted to our website although they are not final until Wednesday to allow for division changes and updates of classifications.

  5. There are two ways to run a match, Open and Squadded. Open mean essentially a group of shooters go to a stage and wen the current group is done, they shoot, then move on to another stage. Squadding a match the organizer decides how may groups there will be, and either you select a squad or you are placed in a squad then that group is assigned to a stage to start the match, and then moves in order through the stages.

All squads start at the same time for most matches,, let's assume 9:00 am, squad 1 starts on stage 1, 2 on 2 and so on, as an example our club runs a 7 stage match, usually with 7 squads of 9-15 people. Each squad moves as they finish to the next stage. Some multi day matches (and a few one day matches) will have to flights, an AM and a PM run. Leave that aside for now. How do you get squadded? Well that depends upon the match. Our match has an online registration where you can select a squad, most of the time people decide to shoot with people they know, sometimes people will decide not to squad and wait till match day and allow the MD to put them where they may be needed. Others that know no one at a particular match may do that same and just meet new people. You will be welcomed so don't worry about that. Do let the staff know you are new. Don't unbag any firearms until you are told it is OK. Ask questions.

  6. OK, apparently is is me, not an issue. I found out I was not completing the task properly. I have now done so and PCC and PCC Optic are now included in our match. Hey, even a blind squirrel finds the occasional acorn!

  7. I just tried to add PCC-Optic to a USPSA/IPSC Match. Seems to allow me to type it in, but it doesn't allow me to save this. IPad, latest version. We have a growing number of people want to shoot this.

    Am I missing something?

  8. One piece of tape carefully applied along the edge, we usually use black, but tan is also ok. It allows you to score a hit that is tangent to the scoring area. if there were no border you would have to determine if a scrape on the edge of the target was a hit or just a cutting issue. Simple really.
