  1. It was a good match experience overall and my first time at that range, just hate shooting when it's cold :o (anything below 60* is freezing for me :P ) Had some "r.o. complications" on stage 8 too. The squad we followed never painted the steel when they were done on the stage (a pet peeve of mine) but what can you do? Met some really nice people there and hope to see you all again. Aloha B)

  2. Phil has a good point. I was shooting before becoming an LEO or joining USPSA. An organization that recognizes LE is important to me. Sure, a lot of the LEO's shooting are doing so with race gear/guns and I feel if you enter the LEO class you should shoot with duty gear otherwise it is just another class to collect an award. I've tried to recruit fellow LEO's to shoot with us but all they have is their duty gear and issued pistol. Once they see how fast it is to draw, shoot, reload with a race gun/gear and the reduction in tactics, they soon find themselves at the bottom of the order of finish. These guys will either buy race guns/gear or shoot IxxA or not come back. Now that USPSA will not recognize LEO/MIL it gives them more of a reason not to shoot with us. IPSC/USPSA is not training for an LEO but it's a whole lot of fun. Just my .02 :D

  3. Rudy Project Rydon's work for me :D Thanks to Jim Shanahan of APS and my wife  who bought me my first pair of Rudy's for my b-day at the Open Nationals last month. The Rydon's have an adjustable nose piece that I need (small nose/bridge) and rx inserts when the day comes I can't use contacts. Call Jim, "he da bes"

  4. Had to send my new M1S90 Practical back to Benelli USA because the barrel extension has a lug that does not line up with the notch in the receiver so the barrel does not seat fully in the receiver. The new barrel didn't fit into my other two M1S90 receivers but they wanted the whole gun anyway  But, Benellis are still my fav  I know they will take care of the problem asap :) . Good luck with your gun.

  5. TNT,

I started with a Benelli M121 then got a M1S90 then just got a new M1S90 Practical. The Practical would work for Open (ported barrel) and the M4 would work for Limited. Need to decide what division to compete in. I tried a Rem 11-87 for open but found it was too heavy, prefer the lightweight of the Benelli's. Wish I could have gotten a new M4 to try, heard good things about it. Good luck.
