  1. ( my small input for the day haha) i first started off with cz's before changing to tanfo's, had 2 shadows and a cz 75 SA in .40 for me switching over was the best move :-) i found the cz75' s to small for my hands, and the tactical sport to big. tanfo's fit my hands so much better. curently my stock 3 has a better trigger then both shadows i had ( one had a comp hammer installed and the other was factory ) and my limited custom 2 is just fantastic. Both tanfo's needed a little lovins with mr' dremel but it was well worh it. both cz's and tanfoglios are excelent pistols but you would have to handle both and see what fits your hands better.
  2. you'll be happy with wst, has a sweet smell while firing it to :-)
  3. i use 5.7 gr of wst under a 180gr fmj bdx bullet (canadian maker) loaded to 1.195, makes major pf out of my tanfo and is extremly acurate :-) make sure to start lower and work up a safe load for your pistol.
  4. I have a unopened bottle of solo 1000 I could sell you Jody send me an email and will talk
  5. Sorry I should've added a pic, I dont know much about how open gun's are built or what the difference is, I only shoot them lol, here's what I'm gonna be using:
  6. Hello all, well I just ventured to the dark side and got a custom STI open gun in 9mm major. I cant wait to try it out but first I need a good load. The previous owner was using HS-6 and said it works great, but I have a good amount of Ramshot silhouette on hand and I would like to use it for something. Ive searched on this forum and there no real reference on load data for 9mm major. People only say "it's a good powder" Could someone give me a point of reference to create a load for my new open gun, Ill be using a 124gr fmj bullet.(gr of powder, oal, and primer type) If you think I should stay with HS-6, let me know why. All info would be appreciated. **Warning** **(All load data must be build up to your setup, use at your own risk)**
  7. Hi people, here's my question: I recently converted my limited custom in .40 to open division and I was wondering what recoil spring should i use? I'm currently using a 9lb wolf spring and my ammo is running at 165-168 power factor. I find that the muzzle jumps a bit but still manageable. The issue I'm finding is that my brass is only ejecting barely 2-3 feet away. Would it be safe to use a 8lb spring to help with ejection and lower the muzzle jump a bit while shooting?
  8. I know this is not the proper forum, but I wanted to ask, would this pin fit in a cz 75 sa or a cz shadow?
  9. For minor loads I use them until they are damaged or lost. Major I would only use them 1 or 2 times max all depending on pressure.
