Firstly, let me say that there are many better F-TR shooters than me out there! I shoot with a setup very similar to yours, all the way out to 1000 yards, and it works just fine. I can generally shoot in the low to mid 90% range with it. Go shoot a few matches and see what others use before you decide to upgrade.
