  1. This was my first DQ 10.5.2. It happened at the end of what ever turns your crank. After showing clear, I went to reholster. The gun bounced off the top of the holster, when I went to re-holster I turned slightly and must have had the gun pointed behind me. It won't happen again, I will look the gun into the holster.

  2. I Hate Drugs! I got called to a death investigation yesterday. We do this all of the time, but yesterday I went to a house to find a friend's son had an overdose. It cought me off guard because the son had just moved and I did not know who lived at the residence. I got to see my friend at the worst possible moment, a father should not outlive his children. I Hate Drugs!

  3. I don't know what DC is, but I would pull the light and use the same holster to shoot the game. If you are a LEO you could shoot limited, limited 10, production, or single stack depending on you pistol and holster. My issued pistol will let me shoot limited, limeted ten or production. My off duty pistol will allow me to shoot single stack.

If you have it, shoot single stack. We could use a few more shooters. :D

  4. I hate not being able to take my vaction or comp time. I was thinking I would be able to make at least one match a month or more this year. I thought I could see some real improvement and maybe move up from c to b.

At work we have had one person fired, one moved to a desk job, and one person moved to a different agency. Now all vacation and comp days are on hold. They changed our work schedule from 12 hour shifts to eight, and now I have a weekend off twice out of every six weeks. Still waiting to find out if I have the time off for area 3. Entry fee paid and motel booked, but I wanted to make some local matches before this match.

The people in charge don't seam to care, they work Monday-Friday. :angry2:

  5. With all of this happy 1-9-11 day talk going on, I went out and got my 6th one. A used Kimber Heritage Edition. It looked liked it needed a good home and a role as a back up pistol for matches. :D

    A homeless 1911 is a terrible thing.

After I picked this pistol up I sent it off for a little work. I just picked it up and couldn't be happier. I don't think it will be the back up now. :D
