  1. With saddness I must request the same...only from WWII to Tact Optics. Patrick Send me a note at support@texasmultigun.com and I'll take care of it for you. Thanks, Justin
  2. I don't have a recent picture, but I did find this video from the LaRue Range Day last November, so it is fairly recent:
  3. Current preliminary (unofficial!) shows things wrapping up with the prize table from 2:30p to 3:40p on Sunday. Add an heavy hour of fudge factor and call it 5p. We'll be shooting from 0730 to sunset on Friday and Saturday and the last four stages on Sunday (again, starting at 0730). Thanks, Justin
  4. As far as I know, no one has the COF, so there should not be an advantage in that regard. I am waiting for a round count, need to stock up, and ammo seems to be getting harder to find lately. Depends on your mag capacity and division. For tac optics, probably less than 40 rounds handgun and 60 rifle per stage, but extras would be good. For instance, reload strategy may suggest dumping a partially full mag, and always have a spare. Shotgun, probably no more than 30 birdshot per stage, but could be less than that. Remember, super high round count per stage would mean more taping and reseting which slows down the match, and we want to keep things moving. It may look like some have fore knowledge but a lot of us have way more ammo carriers and mags and ammo than any one person should, so we just bring it all and LOOK prepared. Also, shooting the monthly matches at BOTW means we get kindof a preview because the stages get tried in a fashion so there are fewer surprises when the match starts. Alden, as for stocking up on ammo - buy it now; you know you are going to shoot it anyway. Lee Lee, you've shot WW2 division in a monthly match, if I remember correctly. If so (?), do you have any tips you would be willing to share with others that might be shooting in that division for the first time?
  5. As far as I know, no one has the COF, so there should not be an advantage in that regard. I am waiting for a round count, need to stock up, and ammo seems to be getting harder to find lately. I concur that the COF is not known to anyone other than the Match Director (Sheldon) at this point--I believe it he is still developing it. Same goes with squadding--it isn't finalized, thus no publication yet. Be patient, this information will be distributed as soon as it is available. We'll try to have a bay available to zero your rifles, but that isn't a guarantee. Be prepared to engage rifle targets anywhere from 1 yd to 500 yds. FYI to new folks this year, one thing we do to keep things moving along according to schedule and was key to the success of the match last year was to have max allowed times for each stage (usually 90 seconds).
  6. Squad lists are not yet completed. If you had a specific squadding request that has not already been communicated (at the time of application or later), please send a note to support@texasmultigun.com. Confirmation emails have been sent to everyone from whom we have received applications, waivers and payment. If you have not received a confirmation and have sent everything in (or believe you have), please send an email to support@texasmultigun.com and I'll look into it. Thanks, Justin
  7. No problem if you do decide to switch divisions, just send us a note via support@texasmultigun.com. Thanks, Justin
  8. No need to pre-register for monthly matches at this time. We'll eventually use that functionality but for right now just look there for the schedule and to signup for major matches. Justin
  9. There were 40 competitors in Open per the final scores. This wouldn't count anyone who DQ'd, though. Think it was about 42 to 45 give or take.
  10. Prepping for Shot Show has had Sheldon pretty busy. Send an email to support@texasmultigun.com and I'll look up whether your registration has been completed. Also, we now have the rules posted directly on the web site. Thanks, Justin I sent my son's in about that time also and it has not been cashed either. I just sent an e-mail to support to find out. Hope he is in. gerritm Mine hasn't been cashed either and they aren't responding to emails. It'd be nice to know so I could go and spend the $ at GT Distributors if I didn't get in!
  11. Lee, what about just putting them in a dump bag on your belt? Alden, I noticed an error in your registration. You signed up for Tactical. I figured you for a WWII guy...
  12. Josh, your confirmation bounced. I sent you a PM to help resolve. Justin
  13. Don't worry, Alden, I don't think your registration will be accepted anyway until you return his hitch.
  14. Folks, my apologies along with Sheldon's. We're transitioning to a new web site and it should be up later today. Sheldon or I will post an update here as soon as things are ready. Thanks, Justin
  15. I'll post back on here once I get Wandrisco's photos online--they're sure to be fantastic. The "Photos" section at the Texas Multigun web site now has John's pictures on there. Enjoy! Justin
