Marvel, Nelson Custom & CWA, have all three. Use a 20lb main spring or you'll have ignition probs. Think hard primer. Springs are available for std vel ammo. May have to recontour the firing pin stop plate to cam the hammer. Nic Taylor has kits for GSG mags, not available in Kommifornia.

From my STI open gun, built 1994 ish. Headspace and throat are slightly deeper. What might happen to the brass?

Not all parts are the same, slide overhang is not unusual. Over cutting lower lugs to align slide/frame is not a good reason. What's cheaper, trim thumb safety to fit or rework by another 'smith. I am assuming lower/upper lugs were properly mated.

If 10/22, stock mags, VQ extractor and optic of choice. 10/22 is the small block chevy, parts galore (but they're not all good).

Live with what you have. Buying the latest whiz bang equipment does nothing to develop your skill set. Go fast stuff will hide basic skill flaws. Concentrate on dry fire practice (airsoft maybe). Best $$ spent is ammo and Match fees, you can't buy a score. Classifier stages pit your skills against the best. El Prez is one of the best turn n burn stages.

40 uses 9/38super shell plate, #2 button vs #3.

22rf will need a 19/20lb main spring for reliable ignition. Very happy with Marvel and Nelson Custom 22 uppers.

Shim stock or steel strap, trim to fit and secure with jb weld.

Look for a used 450, should be cheap and doesn't cost much for the 550 frame. You end up with shell plates n buttons and maybe some dies you won't use.

Varget has a similar prob, give the down stroke an extra nudge. helps empty the powder slide and break up any bridging.
