I just saw that Uncle Mike's is making their own 4 round shell caddy. Anyone here using them that can give a review on the caddies?

So after another trip to the range the JP SCS was still not allowing bolt lock back and I also felt more recoil. I talked to one of JP's armorers and they are sending me a lighter spring to try out. They said the SCS system was really designed for rifles with adjustable gas blocks that could have the gas and SCS systems tuned together. So I hope swapping the spring will solve the problem. So, if you're having the same problem I suggest getting a lighter spring from JP.

The PredatAR is new and I inspected the gas rings and it's not them. The only other thing I can think it might be is the full weight carrier but that's just a guess.

I finally received my JP SCS from Brownells backorder and installed it in my rifle. I'm running a LaRue 16" 5.56mm PredatAR with Magpul PRS stock with the JP SCS. I have ran close to 500 rds so far with this setup and about 40 of those rounds were loaded 1 at a time in various magazines and not once did the bolt lock back. I did this after firing 2 full 30rd magazines and noticed the bolt failed to lock on both magazines. I'm thinking the spring might be a little too strong and isn't letting the bolt back to the rear far enough for lock back. Is anyone else having this problem?

IMHO, Talon Grips

Your PRS stock has more movement in it than a colapsable? That is unusual. Something's loose.
I haven't received it yet, I was just talking about a rifle buffer and spring in an a2 receiver extension.
I went with a PRS and the new JP Silent Captured buffer. Yeah it's way more than a rifle buffer and spring but I think it's totally worth it.

I for one am excited for this Magwell to hit the market. The Gen3 magwells will come out first followed by Gen4's. I figure these would be great for IDPA because its lightweight and easy to ue with factory Glock baseplates.

Sorry. I thought you meant loaded ammo
Bought 1800from here. Gonna try them out.
Its good ammo if you dont reload. I'm glad Hornady started making it.

I use steel punches to remove the factory glock sights and the 10-8 Performance delrin drift punches to install the sights. They also sell the front sight tool as well.
Good Luck

What method do you guys use to mount your scopes in the scope mount?

I need to do the extractor test on my Gen4 17 because I have about 500-600 rounds through it and I'm using the Haley Skimmer trigger with no failures.

You might as well go all out and get the Vanek Ultimate Trigger.

Vipers,
Where did you get your Noveske 17"? What are the specs on your upper
-
Anyone ever given any thought to cutting down the 18" Light Weight SS with Intermediate Gas Length to 16 inches?
-
A 16" Upper with an Intermediate Gas Length System.
-
I wish Noveske made a 16" Intermediate Upper

Just checking to see if anyone here is using one of these Comps and how well they actually work.
