kurtm, what recoil system did you have before, and how much "felt recoil" did the Tac-Com system cure?

I might be replacing my Z6i's LaRue mount for a GDI mount real soon. I just mounted an Aimpoint T-1 in a GDI mount and it's pretty sick

I bought a JP lower with Trigger installed and I think it's the best AR trigger for competition you can buy. I was going to go the "kit" route but decided to just spend the few extra bucks for it installed already. I did however degrease the trigger when I got it because whatever JP used in their shop was dried out and I applied fresh lube. You could go with the kit, but I think its worth the extra cash spent to: (1) have the trigger pre installed by a JP gunsmith, and (2) have a matching JP Lower to go along with the trigger.

I just want to know if this Glock Competition Grip Job offered by Taran Tactical Innovations is IDPA legal for SSP or ESP divisions. I would forego the "rear strap size reduction" and just get my grip textured 360 and undercut trigger guard with texture.

$1400. It could've been a little cheaper but I added extra features that I wanted. I really love the way it turned out though.

So, if I undercut my trigger guard I might as well stipple/texture the whole grip because I'll be in ESP anyway?

So does the JP Silent Captured really have a big advantage over JP's Low Mass recoil buffer and spring?

Stippling wont destroy fabric like "grip tape" will. I have a stippled G17 that I carry IWB and its never gave me any problems.

Ace makes a 1" Recoil pad for the stock. Would that work for you?

Has anyone tried the new Apex Tactical line of compensators or seen one in live fire?

Straight out of the box Gen 3 Glock 17. The only thing I did to it was remove the slide and wipe out the "gold" grease and apply some FP-10. Went and shot my first IDPA match that Saturday

I placed a call to JP and talked to customer service. I was told it's the EZ Trigger that comes in the lower, but the guy didn't sound too sure of himself. I guess we'll see when my lower shows up at my FFL.

I'm not sure if they work with Tech-Lok or not. My caddies have metal belt loops.

Does anyone know if the JP-15 Lower with Trigger (JP15LWT3.5) includes the JP EZ Trigger or the JP Original Trigger? Their website doesn't specify which trigger it comes with.

Just ordered a JP EZ Trigger. I'm anxious to see how it compares to the Geissele SD3G trigger that I've been primarily running.

I don't reload but want to. I shoot mostly Hornady Match though, when I can find it.
Swaro Z6i battery drain

Has anyone else noticed their Z6i draining it's battery? I'll put a fresh battery in mine and in the off position the battery will be dead within 5-7 days.
