My concerns magazines, and would a standard DI system get to dirty faster using cheap surplus ammo verses piston.
What will it be used for?

I sent Tac-Mod an email about a month ago asking about the buttstock and never heard anything back. Went with a PRS instead, but I might be swapping that out real soon for a Magpul MOE Rifle Stock.

Magpul just started shipping the MOE Rifle Stock. That might be an option now

I'd pass, but I think my decision is partly because I'm still pissed off at Bushmaster for "f"ing up the Magpul ACR.

Ah, they do make an non-Costa version. Do they ever just sell uppers?
Yeah I could care less about the engraving but I would love to buy the upper if it was sold seprately. The OBR barrel is a good feature but I don't want to pay out my ass for it either.
The only "uppers" LaRue sells are their Stealth Uppers. I wish they sold the others seperate

Standard Spring measures at 10 1/4 inches
Replacement Spring measures at 10 3/4 inches
Replacement Spring also has yellow painted on one end

The JP replacement spring arrived today. I removed the standard spring tonight, and I noticed the replacement spring is longer than the standard spring. Does this sound right? Talking with JP they said I need a lighter spring weight than standard so I'm not getting why the "lighter" spring is longer.

Ive owned ARMS, ADM, GG&G, and LaRue mounts. Ive personally had 2 ARMS mounts break on me. The one ADM mount I had broke as well. The GG&G mount was nice but couldn't hold a zero after removed. The groups would always be high but tight. I now use LaRue mounts only as they are the only mounts that I've found to actually hold a zero when removed.
What'll they think of next?
