  1. A couple of us sent our apps in on Monday but haven't seen our names added to the self-squad USPSA web page. We would really like to shoot together. Any help would be appreciated.
  2. A buddy and I just got back from the post office sending in our apps for this match. This will be our first major match. I'm pretty excited!
  3. Do you wear a skirt when you drink that beer Jesse?
  4. I'm really looking forward to re-shooting ... er ... I mean SHOOTING this match Mike!
  5. Agreed. I get so many loadings out of my Speer brass that I quit keeping count. The secret to getting more loadings out of any brass is the amount of flair you use before you seat your bullet. The more you flair the more you work the brass. Using a coat hanger as an analogy, the more you bend it back and forth, the quicker it breaks in half.
  6. I just bought a Lyman 2500 about six months ago. It will do 1k of brass at a time of .38spl and smaller. If you are using walnut shells, put a capfull of paint thinner (mineral spirits) in with each batch. It will cut the dust down and really make the cases bright.
  7. +1 ... The Lyman 49th edition is a great manual for a great price. It also has a fair amount of lead bullet load data.
  8. My failure rate concerning flipped primers is somewhere around five per 1000. Check you primer plate for burrs that may be causing the primers to flip.
  9. We are really lucky in this area indeed! I can pretty much shoot two matches a weekend without having to travel further than 100 miles.
  10. It was a pleasure beating you in both those classifiers you shot. We won't mention how many times you have beaten me. Yep, looking forward to my redemption tomorrow! Lol Thanks for making me feel welcome guys!
  11. Yep, I shoot that match on the first Saturday of the month. I don't know your Dad by name, but probably do by sight. There are around 90 shooters each month.
  12. has no idea what to put here!?!

  13. I am looking at switching from a 180gr. lead TC to a 200gr. lead TC. I am currently using Power Pistol and am wondering if I will really see that much difference by going to a heavier bullet with a lighter charge and loading to the same power factor.
  14. I've been using 24gr. of AA2230 under a 55gr. Hornady FMJBT bullet. It's works great as my 50 yard zero is the same as my 200 yard zero. I know Powder Valley has it cuz that's where I bought it!
  15. Hi guys! I'm a fairly new shooter to USPSA (started shooting again around September of last year) and am excited to join this forum. I've got my classification in Production class and just shot my classifiers for Limited, which I plan on shooting this year. I've been lurking for quite awhile and decided to get joined up. This is a great website FULL of info and hope to contribute where I can. Mitch
